CHAPTER ELEVEN
Sabine's POV
By the time we got home i was so tired and ready to pass out cause dear Sebby suddenly had the urge to have ice cream and we ended up walking back home since it was a few blocks away and he wanted to show me around the neighborhood.
It was cool till the exhaustion settled in
We finally reached home and was welcomed by Aunt who was asking where we were cause apparently she was watching the concert on TV and knew that it was over for a while now
I narrated our escapade to her to which she pulled Sebby's ear telling him he could have just come home and had the ice cream thats here at home instead of putting me through the stress of walking to which i gave Sebby the tongues out
But as always he has an explanation to everything as the ice cream at the store was more sweeter and that he also wanted to show me how the neighborhood looked like in the night
Finally made it to my room to freshen up and went to bed

Days turned to weeks and finally its been two months since i came here and finally settled in and finished furnishing my room at the apartment ready to move in when school resumes in a week
I have also been hanging out with Selina and Lydia almost everyday with Sebby tagging along every once in a while and i even had lunches along with her mom and today she has invited me over to her house for dinner which i couldn't refuse even if i wanted to cause apparently she wanted to introduce me to her twin brother who has been busy with work and is one of the most important person in her life and as her friend i am obligated to get to know him
So here i am standing in front of the large door about to ring the doorbell to their mansion of a home
If I thought that Aunts house was huge then this was something else
Finally getting the courage i rang the doorbell and it was opened in a flash
"Thought you would never make up your mind"
Selina's boisterous voice sounded as she opened the door wider letting me in
"Well you can't blame me for being nervous meeting your mom was fine but this is something else" She just laughed making me narrow my eyes at her
"Relax babe......there's nothing to worry about and besides one of the main reason might not make it" "Why is that? Is he held up at work?"
"Yep some meetings that is taking too long but he said he would try and make it which i really hope so cause i really want you guys to meet and just maybe you might click"
She muttered the last part thinking i wouldn't hear it but i did and it confirmed my suspicion about her trying to play cupid
I decided to ignore it as we made our way to the dinning room where her parents were already seated
I was greeted with a hug from the mom and i was introduced to the dad who was super friendly than i expected
Dinner went smoothly with small talks here and there as they asked me questions getting to know me and even told me the story of how they met and how Mr Adrian stalked the dance school Mrs Valeria was working in before he got the courage to ask her out and were inseparable ever since
After dinner we went to the lounge to have tea while trying to prolong my stay in case Samuel will be able to make it on time to meet me I think the whole family is set with this matchmaking but am sorry to disappoint as i still couldn't seem to get a certain pair of eyes out of my mind
I might have forgotten his face over the past months cause i didn't really print his face into memory but i can never forget those eyes and as much as i should be disappointed that i haven't met him yet my heart still gives me hope and i don't even know why cause the chances are slim to none
After much fun and discussions and Samuel still didn't come i finally went home after promising to come back again soon

Selina's POV
As soon as Sabine left i turned to look at my parents with a frown
"He didn't make it"
My dad just sighed and shrugged knowing how Sam takes his work serious and now that he already has an additional work of finding his mystery Angel on his plate
"I really don't mind him finding that girl but if destiny doesn't let him find her i just can't help but feel as though if he met with Sabine he would be taken with her call it motherly instincts but i know its true" My Mom said with a smile taking over the frown on her face
"Lets just hope so cause i can't bear seeing him like this anymore i just want him to be happy"
I added just as the door opened revealing a tired looking Sam

Samuel's POV
It's been months two god damn months and no trace of my Angel but i am not losing hope yet even though my family and friends are telling me to do otherwise
Sometimes i do feel like taking heed to their words when i get frustrated but whenever i remember that smile of hers that lits up her eyes i forget all about my worries and frustrations and lean on the hope my heart has in finding her
So now am here in a meeting i deliberately called for in order to delay my coming to dinner at my parents house to introduce me to a friend of Selina that they invited over
They thought they were being sneaky trying to play cupid but i am not a prodigy for nothing and besides it's not rocket science to realize their intentions
I have seen the worried looks they send my way when ever they find me frustrated trying to find my angel considering the chances are slim to none so now they feel trying to introduce me to this girl will take my mind off my angel cause they feel we are meant to be but they have never been so wrong
Yes i appreciate their efforts but i still have faith that i will meet my angel soon
A few hours later i made my way to the house knowing that the dinner is over
As i opened the door i saw my parents and sister standing there so i assumed that their guest just left
Pheeew....................narrow escape now time for made up sadness
"Hey guys sorry am late the meeting took longer than expected, is she still around?"
"She just left not too long ago bro you just missed her"
"Oh thats unfortunate hope she wasn't upset?" I continued trying to look genuinely upset that i couldn't get to meet her
"No she wasn't dear there would be another time as she will be going to school alongside you guys too"
Mom said putting a comforting hand on my shoulder as tried to hide my grimace at the thought of that while dad just kept watching me curiously not saying a word
"That's great can't wait" I gritted out my words
"Alright come dear let me serve you dinner" Mom said pulling me towards the kitchen
"No mom am alright dinner was served during the meeting"
I said having lost my appetite at the thought of the new problem coming my way
"Am gonna head up to freshen up" I added making my way upstairs

I stepped out of the bathroom ready for bed when i saw my dad sitting on my bed eyeing me in amusement
"You never wanted to meet Selina's friend tonight did you?"
I was about to respond but he cut me off raising his hand to silence me
"Let me finish boy, you never wanted to meet her that is why you had a meeting to take up your time in the office and now you feel annoyed that you won't be able to escape this for much longer am i right son? Don't lie to me your mom and sister maybe oblivious to this but i know cause i have done it before for similar reasons except that i wasn't hunting for the love of my life"
"You're absolutely on point dad" I surrendered knowing he has caught on my facade
"I really appreciate that you all want me to move on and be happy but i can't give up just yet no matter how long it takes cause i know she's somewhere close i can feel it"
He kept quiet for a while looking at me analyzing what i said before he responded
"Alright son follow your heart i am right here for you and i will try and make your mom and sister lay off your back" He said coming to hug me and wished me good night
After he left i just laid there in my bed and played a random song from my Itunes library on my phone and it just happened to go with my thoughts

My thoughts that were filled solely with thoughts of my Angel
I just wonder where she is now
Is she even missing me like i miss her or has she forgotten about me already?
My heart saddened at that thought shaking my head involuntarily as though to wave away the negativity building up
I can't give up just yet
I believe she's close by and am going to search everywhere possible till i meet her again
I ended up putting the song on repeat cause it brought out the picture of my girl so vividly bringing me thoughts of things we could do together being in so much love
Once i have her in my arms am never gonna let go even if she want to cause am gonna give her all the reasons to stay and much more
Exhaustion finally kicking in i switched off my phone and slept with one image in my mind
