Mira Washington is a mixed girl who comes from the North. Her dad is white and her mom is black. When Mira's dad decides that the family should move to the South, things take a new turn. Mira will go on multiple journeys and find out if what she heard about in the South is true, how people will treat her, and make new friends, like Atlas, along the way. Most importantly, Mira will finally get to know who she is/her identity as a mixed girl.
