The New World Welcomes The Divinity

Maeve jumped towards Ace but he skillfully dodged her advance.

"Hey, she's my child! Give her back!" Maeve refuted while extending her hands towards Ace. Ace skillfully dodged again and Maeve pouted.

"Hahaha~ Ask me anything you want, I can give it to you without a second thought, but, Gracie, she's mine!" Ace declared with a burst of hearty laughter.

"Right, my nightingale?" Ace questioned as he brushed his nose with Gracie's.

*Giggle*

Gracie giggled in response as if agreeing to her father's words, then she looked at Maeve and her small tongue popped out.

"Hmph!" Maeve snorted as she turned her face away from the father-daughter pair.

Gracie's smile froze and she extended her both hands towards her mother. Ace understood what she wanted and walked towards Maeve.

Gracie placed her hands on Maeve's cheeks and brushed her nose with Maeve's just like her father did it to her.

There was no way Maeve can ignore that and a small smile appeared on her face.

"Come to Mama?" She muttered as she extended her hands towards Gracie.

Gracie turned her head to look at Ace as if asking for his permission.

Ace kissed her forehead and nodded, Gracie, smiled and extended her hands towards Maeve. Maeve understood the signal and quickly took her into her embrace.

"Say… isn't she too smart for a 3-days-old child?" Ace questioned with a pondering look.

Maeve who was playing with her daughter shrugged.

"She is my daughter, she had to be smart compared to others"

"…" Ace didn't know how to answer that and he intellectually decided to remain silent.

Still, this question remained in his head.

Gracie was too smart for her age. Ace thought about this as they walked towards Maeve's room but couldn't think of any possibilities.

'Meh… maybe she really did inherit her mother's smartness' Ace shrugged inwardly as they entered the room.

"So, when are we leaving?" Maeve questioned as she sat on her bed with Gracie in her arms.

"Let me select some things to bring with us" Ace answered.

"Remember that we have limited space in our storage rings, so choose wisely" Maeve suggested.

Anyone who visits a lower world thinks carefully about what to bring with them as the world might not have enough resources and dense Qi, so people usually think a lot before packing their stuff.

"Of course I know, therefore I have already planned what we need" Ace answered with a reassuring smile. Maeve furrowed her brows when he smiled like that and she questioned with an uncertain tone.

"Could you tell me what 'things' have you plan to select?"

"Gracie's toys, her clothes, her blankets, her crib, all the protection inscriptions to protect her, recording stones to record her precious moments, some fruits for her to eat whenever she is hungry as I don't know how long will it take to reach"

Ace answered in a single breath and with a proud look on his face.

"…" Maeve looked into Ace's eyes without saying anything.

"What? Did I miss anything?" Ace questioned.

"You missed the most important thing"

"What?"

"Her diapers" Maeve replied and Ace's eyes turned wide.

"You are right! How could I forget that? What if there aren't good quality diapers there? Thank god you are here" Ace responded.

"I will always be there for you~" Maeve responded and quickly gave a peck on Ace's lips.

"You are the best!"

Ace kept praising Maeve while Gracie giggled.

They left the room and started picking everything they planned for.

"Hey, we still some space here, what should we do?" Ace questioned.

"Hmm? We do? Didn't her toys take like, half while her clothes took one-fourth of the total space? How do we still have some space left?" Maeve questioned.

"I don't know. Well, isn't that good for us? Tell me, what should I pick?" Ace shrugged.

"Let's pick some resources so we can train there, I don't think the elemental Qi will be much dense there" Maeve suggested.

"Hmm? Okay!" Ace nodded and moved towards the treasury, he picked some core of the strong warriors he slew and stored it in his Space

Don't think for a second that the storage space he has is small. The combined storage space he and Maeve's have should be around 100,000,000 cubic meters and these 2 geniuses decided to fill it with toys and diapers.

That much is enough to sell them in malls for years.

"Done!" Ace exclaimed.

"So shall we leave?" Maeve questioned.

"Mhm" Ace nodded.

*Giggle*

Gracie giggled in response and a smile appeared on Ace and Maeve's faces.

"Alright, come here" Ace extended his hands as Maeve walked into his embrace while she carried Gracie.

*Flap*

2 pairs of bright golden wings appeared on Ace's back as they all rose into the sky.

"Ehehe~" Gracie giggled with wide eyes as she enjoyed the flight.

Maeve smiled while Ace put a serious expression.

"I, Ace Vorste, a Magma, and Typhoon Divinity, demand to leave this world with my wife, Maeve Vorste, and my daughter, Gracie Vorste, and move to a lower world!" Ace declared.

*Rumble*

*Thunder*

*Splash*

The earth shook, clouds roared and water bodies became unstable, the people, animals and beast alike, all felt an unknown pressure on them. The weak-hearted lost consciousness, while the mages felt their elements getting out of their control.

The elements all around Herferd moved towards a single point, a huge black colored portal appeared, sucking Ace and his family inside and disappeared as if an illusion.

...

Everything returned to normal in Herferd.

Ace and his family were thrown into a black space with countless planets.

"What… what is this place…?" Ace questioned.

"I don't kno-Aaahhhh!!" Maeve answered but before she could complete her sentence, they all moved forward at an extremely high speed. It was as if they were pulled by a strong force.

Countless planets bypassed them within milliseconds. It was so fast that Maeve couldn't even see the planets while Ace was barely able to glance at them.

"…?" Ace unconsciously glanced at Gracie who looked at the planets passing them with an interested gaze. Her eyes moved as if following the planets. There was an unusual brightness in her eyes.

'Can she see them?' Ace thought inwardly.

'Heh! What am I thinking, even I can't see them, how can she? She is just a little girl, my little girl' Ace chuckled but his eyes went wide when he saw what happened next.

Gracie's eyes lit up and she waved her small hands, at the same time, they stopped, and their direction changed, moving towards a specific planet.

Maeve seemed like she hadn't realized what happened.

In the next second, a similar portal appeared and they passed through it.

*Whoosh*

The portal appeared in another place, throwing Ace and his family into the new world.

Ace balanced himself and landed on his feet with Maeve in her arms, who herself carried Gracie.

All this while, Ace's eyes never left Gracie. She looked around with a happy look, but that look didn't look innocent and pure like a child should have, it looked more like mature happiness.

*Chirp* *Chirp* *Chirp*

*Whoosh* *Whoosh* *Whoosh*

The birds sang, light wind currents, that felt rather good when they hit on the face flew, while the flowers bloomed.

A butterfly flew towards them and sat on Ace's head for a while before flying away.

The world welcomed them but instead of being happy, Ace had a deep frown on his face.

There were 2 things wrong with this whole situation.

First, the world should tremble in fear as he was a Divinity, a person who could destroy this world easily. The world should not welcome them; instead, it should try to make them leave.

Second, this welcome… it felt weird…

It felt more like a welcome… back.

Ace tried to think of the reason for the weird things happening and he unconsciously glanced at her daughter, whose eyelids turned heavy and she slept in her mother's embrace.

'Was that all coincident?' He thought inwardly.

"Ace…"

"Ace!"

"Huh?" Ace muttered as he came out of his reverie.

"What happened? I have been calling you for a while, why aren't you answering?" Maeve questioned.

"Huh… um… it's nothing… I just felt dizzy, that's all" Ace smiled.

'It's just a coincident, look how happily she is sleeping, how could she do something like that?' Ace answered to himself.

"Should we rest for a while?" Maeve questioned in a concerned tone.

"Hmm? No, I can't let my daughter sleep in the wilderness, can I? I think we should buy a beautiful house!" Ace exclaimed.

"Wait… we didn't bring money with us…" Maeve remembered their storage rings were filled with all sorts of things that Gracie needs but they didn't have any money.

"We can sell the resources we have, I think we can get a decent amount of money through it" Ace suggested.

"And what will you say if someone asks you where you found them? It will bring unnecessary troubles" Maeve refuted.

"So what do you suggest then?" Ace questioned.

"Well, though scarce, this world still has elemental Qi, I am pretty sure there must be sects and stuff.

Why don't you join a sect as an elder? We will earn enough respect and will get a house to stay in for free. What do you think?" Maeve suggested.

"Alright, we will find a sect then!" Ace exclaimed with a smile as he picked Maeve and sped into the sky.
