UNBREAKABLE BOND OF BLOOD

It was already morning, Leyla with Tiana was all ready for their trip–the plane was to take off by 10am and they had less than two hours to arrival at the airport. Daniel pushed the door open, revealing his face. 


Leyla instinctively smiled on seeing him. “Hi, honey, you're here" She mumbled. 


“Yes, love–” He answered, placing a soft kiss on her cheeks. “Shall we go now? " He asked as he picked up their bags. Leyla bobbed her head in response. 


With that, she scooped Tiana from her cot and hastened after Daniel who was a few meters ahead of her. Just when she was about to exit, she instinctively paused at the door and stared back at the room, taking note of their family portrait which hanged on the wall and feigned a smile, her darted eyes dazzled with unshed tears. 


“Are you coming?” Daniel called from the hall which made her sniff in her sorrow and replaced it with a warm smile. 


“Yes, honey–Will be down in a sec” She howled, locking the door behind her.
