Chapter 80

Cleopoda was by the window in their room with another book Birian had given to her. She looked up from the book and rose a brow in question.

"We were unable to go to the fields yesterday and if I have to work for the rest of the week then we should enjoy this day together."

"And the basket?"

"A picnic. Come on, little Highness, you can leave the book for now and enjoy this beautiful day the gods have blessed us with."

Cleopoda smiled. His enthusiasm was contaminable and she was quickly drawn by it. She set her book aside and unfolded her legs.

"Okay. I will not spoil your mood."
