Chapter-4

Aarav. POV.

I don't know how to feel that I am marrying and the girl I am marrying is 10 years younger than me. She is a Dentist. Our marriage is arranged. Firstly I was against the idea of an arrange marriage but with with Parents and Grandparents continuous lecture about being alone and their need for an heir I agreed. Truthfully I feel little bad for her as she only agreed to marry me because her parents said so but in my case if I would have rejected her then no one would question me but they may point fingers at her which according to me is wrong.

Even though I don't know her so well but I will try my level best to understand her and give her all she deserves because she will be leaving her home just for me and try her level best to be wonderful for me. Girls are wonderful creatures they sacrifice so much but don't let anyone see. They go through so much but still try their best to bring smiles on everyone's faces.

From what I know about Oreeti is that she is a shy ,kind and hardworking girl and I hope I will not be disappointing her in any manner.

I didn't see the girl before but my parents showed me her photograph and I must say I was mesmerised by her. Her brown eyes and black hair with that cute innocent face attracted me towards her.

The day we met was the day of our engagement. I am 1.72 metres and she is 1.52 metres in height. The moment I touched her hand to exchange our engagement rings. I felt a flow of electric jolt flow through my body and she was not affected by it.

The whole time I secretly stole glances at her. I didn't know what say. Firstly I thought that she would say no considering the fact that i was older than her but she didn't say and to my surprise she accepted me . And when I helped her out during the pre wedding shoot I didn't think that she will remember this small gesture but it did make me happy.

I wanted to asked for her number but her cousins told me that she is very shy and don't interact with much people . After hearing about her it made me to be protective of her and hide her away from all the evils.

Today is our wedding. In morning my haldi ceremony occured where all my relatives and friends applied haldi all over my face and arms and after that I took bath and started getting ready for my wedding suit.My best friend Aahil is my bestman in my marriage. He is also a buisness tycoon like me. He is married and has a beautiful wife named Mayra. Aahil is a body freak whereas Mayra is an interior designer and has a petite body. They both met each other during one of their projects where Aahil fell in love with her and asked Mayra out and later Mayra also fell in love with him amd they got married. Aahil And Mayra gave me life lessons about wedding which I must say we're very thought provoking. They both threatened me to never hurt her as they both have a soft corner for her and I must say their threat is justified.

They both are the beautiful couple I have ever seenMayra is like my sister I never had and she is the one who actually persuaded me to talk to Oreeti. And I am glad that I paid heed to her words. Now I do know little things about her and major things will be known when I will spend time with her.

I know that I need to make little more effort in our marriage but I guess that's the least I can do for her after she has done so much for me.

I changed nto my golden designer sherwani. And my head gear which is known as turban or sehra.Aahil changed into a blue plain sherwani with black dhoti like salwar.Mayra changed into a beautiful blue designer lehenga and choli. I must say both of them were looking spectular.

After that we all went outside where my whole family along with our family friends was waiting. I was made to sit on a seat and again the priest starting chanting verses and after that Mayra came forward as she has to perform the ceremony of feeding the female horse the fodder which was also my ride.

This whole process took about 2 hours as I have to pose with every member of my family for family photograph. And it was actually very tiring . By the time we were over it was already 6 p.m. and we have to reach at my weeding venue before 8 p.m.

I was nervous as hell as who wouldn't be. As if sensing my nervousness Aahil patted my back and said

"Don't worry. Everything will be fine."
