It's Not Your Fault

Vale shook her head.

“It’s not your fault. It’s mine. I’m so stupid.” she stated firmly.

Keith shook his head.

“No, it’s not. If I hadn’t put up the silly rules of mine, you would not be in this condition. I felt bad.” he kissed her temple.

“Keith shut it. If I had known that they were luring me, I could run if I wanted to. Don’t take the blame on you. I don’t like it.” she narrowed her eyes at him.

He hesitated and seems like he wanted to argue more but ended up sighing.

“Fine. How are you feeling?”

“I’m fine.” she leaned more into his embrace and sighed in contentment.

Gotta enjoy this as much as she can while it lasts.

“Vale, I need to tell you something,”

“What?” she lifted her head.

“It’s-” he sighed and rub his temple.

“Can you walk?” he asked out of the blue.

“Keith,” Vale narrowed her eyes at him.

“Not now, Vale. Now, tell me. Can you walk?”

Vale moved, and he helped her to stand up. She tried walking but not without grimacing a lot.
