"Good morning wooooorld~"

"Good morning, Yeanne." I greeted back with a tired smile.

"A ghost!" She stepped back in terror and closed her eyes. When she opened it slightly, her recognition shone to her face and the terror expression she had is gone and now a surprised one. "Oh, it's just you! I never knew that my lady wakes up early," she commented. Her smile slowly faded the not she looked at me and with her widened eyes, she exclaimed: "You didn't sleep?!" She immediately escorted me to my room while nagging at me, "What did you do, my lady? Pulling all-nighter is not good! You could get sick! Now, get a good rest." She covered me with blanket gently.

"Thank you, Yeanne. If Sun comes, please just give him the papers on my desk. I take back my words from before, don't wake me up. Just let me sleeo," I said and before my eyes closed, I heard her say, "Aye! Aye! My lady!

The noise from outside awoke me. I held my head as I winced because of pain. Damn, I got a headache.

"My lady, you've woken up!"

"Are you feeling alright, my lady? You don't look so well, you should've called for us or get some more rest. I heard from Yeanne that you didn't get a sleep last night." Mayka's voice was full of concern and care.

I smiled at her reassuringly, "I'm fine, you need not to worry. What's with the noise一"

"Yo, this is quite shocking! I knew you would be able to pull this up, but I didn't thought you were this good! The storyline is unique, and the plot twist is really good! This will be surely a hit," Sun said and gestured a 'thumbs up'.

The story was common in the modern era. It is about the girl who lived her life once again. It is not reincarnation, she just turned back in time due to unexplainable occurence. The leading lady was named Ayessa, she came from a rich and well-known family. She's loved by her parents and that's why she grew up like a spoiled brat; she wants all of her demands to be granted.

Although her attitude was not good, she's gifted with a sharp brain. She's beautiful and she had everything. She met a man who didn't get captivated by her beauty, and that is how she got interested by that man.

She lost herself while chasing for the man who never wanted to be chased. She gave her everything to that man and she made herself a fool. She gave what the man wanted, but in the end, it did not matter. She was busy giving her all that she didn't realize she was slowly losing everything. Her parents, money, most especially, her sanity.

She only realized the importance of what she had when she took her own life. That's when she wished that if she could live her life again, she would not make the same mistakes and she would be good.

After that, a miracle happened. She turned back in time and just like what she vowed, she won't repeat her mistakes and use her skills in a good way. That's how she met Zero, the male protagonist. She met Zero when she tried to solve a difficult murder case, that's how they've gotten close to each other.

And that's how the story goes.

"You don't need to worry, it'd still be the kind of story you wanted. They will be facing more cases which would bring their hearts closer to each other and their journey will lead them to an unexpected revelation." I said and smiled. Although I still don't have anything in mind about the "unexpected revelation." I'm still working on it.

"I know, and I am excited to know about that cliffhanger." He said and sipped on his tea, "You're really far from the rumours, you're actually the opposite of what I've heard! You are smart and intelligent!"

"What does that suppose to mean? That you thought I was dumb and stupid?" I asked. His eyes widened and he whistled without looking at me. I just sighed, that's somehow true.

Though Empress Lucia was kind, she's somewhat slow about politics and other things.

Still, one thing bothers me. I did not finish the novel so I do not know the reason why they forbid the empress and the emperor to meet when in fact they are married! They did not even meet each other before the "frame up incident!" I really feel frustrated and sad for Lucia that she had to meet the person she loved in that sorry state.

"So, when would you start writing一Don't misunderstand, I am not rushing you or anything. I just want to know so maybe I could lend you a hand with something."

"It's okay," I replied with a smile, "I plan to write by the end of this week. I just want to refresh and relax for now. Things have been really difficult for me this past days."

"I understand. By the way, do you know that lady? She's been peeking at us since earlier," he whispered at my ears and pointed Lady Marika who is hiding behind the small tree.

"Just let her be, she won't get anything." I said and sipped on my tea, "She's probably wondering why someone like you is visiting me, not to mention twice."

"Yeah, right? Who wouldn't be curious when a handsome bachelor like me is visiting a lady like you who does not have a lover as well?" He proudly said before winking at me.

"Who's the handsome bachelor? I don't see anyone," I acted like I was looking for someone.

"You are very mean to me, my lady." He pouted like a cute child. Why is he very good-looking though?

I chuckled, "Anyway, why are you not curious about me一"

"Ah, are you suggesting that I should be interested in you?" The cute aura he had suddenly faded and the playful smirk he usually wears flashed.

"No. I only want to know why are you not asking about me being here一being a noble lady."

"Oh, how disappointing. I thought you wanted me to be interested in you."

"Why would I? I'm not even slightly interested in you."

"You never cease to hurt me, do you?" I only sipped on my tea without looking at him, "It's because I know the reason, it's obvious."

"Well, you are correct. I understand him too, I know he's just trying to protect the Empire's name and the law." I said while gazing at the bright, blue, sky.

"You really believe that it's just because he does not want to put a stain on the Empire's name? How dense. Obviously, he's trying to protect you. Why do you think he got this far to put a lof of effort even though一"

"I did not know that the Lady Lucia had a visitor," a cold voice behind Sun was suddenly heard.

Sun froze in an instant, "Your Majesty!"

"Greetings to the Emperor, sun of the Empire." I bowed, "Your Majesty, I did not know that you were coming so I haven't prepared anything. Forgive my impudence and rest well at my humble home. Yeanne, Mayka, Cay, please serve his highness. Prepare some--"

"It's alright, you need not to prepare anything for me and to apologize. It's my fault for coming on short notice," he said.

"Yes, so just go."

That idiot! Sun whispered it to the air, but it was loud enough for everyone to hear! Really an idiot!

"Sun, did you say something?" He glared at him.

Sun immediately shook his head and smiled, "It was nothing, Your Majesty! I said it's a pleasure to meet you here!" He managed to say even when shuddering.

"Really?"

Sun have him a raw smile, "I think I already did what I have to do, Lady Lucia. Thank you for accompanying me. Your Majesty, this one should go now."

"Good. Get lost and never come back," he hissed at him.

Sun pouted, "Snobbish." The emperor glared at him again, "Have a good time, Your Majesty! Bye-bye!" And in a blink of an eye, he was already nowhere to be found.

I looked at my guest, "Please sit down, Your Majesty. May this one know the reason you visited?"

I look at him intently. Damn, I might just melt.
