Amai Mask

In a certain restaurant, City Z,

Five people could be seen sitting around a table, that was located in the top-right corner of the restaurant.

They were silently waiting for their food to arrive.

Earlier,

When Kenji said "Let's go" they traveled back to City Z to find a place to eat.

They were running around the city, until Saitama found an udon shop.

Saitama immediately rushed inside, but Kenji pulled him out.

Saitama said that he wants to eat udon, but Kenji wants to eat delicious steak.

They argued in front of the shop which made the owner mad and shooed them away.

They then decided a voting system in where the one with more votes win.

Moments later,

It was Saitama's crushing defeat with 1 vote for Saitama (which is himself) and 4 votes for Kenji.

Kenji felt sorry for his bald friend, but he really wants to eat meat today.

Tatsumaki then recommended a restaurant that sells fine steak.

Well, since Tatsumaki recommended the restaurant.

Kenji shamelessly told her that she will pay for all of them.

A tick mark appeared on Tatsumaki's forehead when she heard him, but she still agreed since her funds were big.

They then went to where the restaurant was located.

And here they are now.

The presence of the group gave out an intimidating vibe.

They just sat there silently and waited for the food.

"Hey, isn't that Rank 2 S-Class Hero, Tornado of Terror?" A customer whispered to his friend.

"Holy shit! You're right!" The customer's friend replied to him in a low voice.

Tatsumaki's ear twitched when she heard them, but she still ignored the two customers.

"Isn't that the four newly appointed S-Class Heroes with her?" A female customer whispered to her friends.

"You're right! Four people were added to the S-class rankings!" Another female customer showed her phone to her friends.

There is actually a Hero Association app made by Child Emperor 3 months ago.

With just one click you can see the ranking of heroes. From C-class all the way to S-Class.

You can also tap the emergency button located at the bottom if there's a monster nearby.

The Association will be immediately alerted and send the nearest heroes to your location.

"Look at that guy next to Tornado of Terror! He's hot!" The female customers looked at Kenji.

They were completely mesmerized by his unique amethyst colored eyes.

Tatsumaki heard them and a tick appeared on her forehead, she hissed at the female customers that were talking about Kenji.

"Is everything all right?" Kenji noticed Tatsumaki acting weird and asked.

"Hmph!" Tatsumaki just hmphed and looked away.

Kenji scratched his head wondering what he did to make her angry.

Moments later,

A waitress walked towards the table and placed their food.

Kenji smiled at the waitress and thanked her, leaving her dazed by his smile.

Tatsumaki then smacked Kenii's head.

"Wha- Why did you that?" Kenji glared at the small woman beside him.

Even though it doesn't hurt, it was still rude to smack someone's head.

"I just got irritated."

Kenji was flabbergasted. You hit my head for that reason? How about I smack your head too if I'm feeling irritated!

The waitress snapped back to reality and quickly fled. She could feel something was staring at her back on her way to the kitchen.

The three other men ate their food silently while looking at the two.

They had different feelings when they were looking at them "fighting".

'How dare she hit Kenji-sensei's head! I'll make sure to incinerate her later!' Genos exclaimed in his mind while glaring at Tatsumaki.

'Dang, she hit his head. Teacher's probably going to beat her up later.' Sonic thought.

He actually wants to see Tatsumaki and Kenji fight. That will be a fun show to watch.

'The meat's pretty good. But I still want to eat udon though.' Saitama completely ignored the two and was concentrating in eating.

Moments later,

Tatsumaki spoke and looked at the four men.

"You guys going to move to the dorm?"

"There's one?" Kenji asked Tatsumaki.

"Apparently, there is a 'dorm' where S-Class Heroes reside. It's not really a dorm, more or like a high rise building." Genos joined in the conversation.

When Kenji and Saitama heard what he said, they looked at each other intently as if they were communicating by telepathy.

'You wanna go?' Saitama looked at Kenji and said with his eyes.

Kenji was still unsure and looked at Tatsumaki.

"Is the kitchen high-class?" Kenji asked Tatsumaki.

"Well, yeah. The Association provides high-class facilities for their heavy hitters." In which Tatsumaki replied.

'I'm going.' Kenji looked at Saitama.

'Guess I'll go to.' Saitama nodded his head while he looked at Kenji.

Genos was watching them communicating with their eyes.

'Kenji-sensei and Saitama-sensei are communicating without even speaking.'

'Is this how strong people communicate? I think they're showing me how to do it.'

Genos stared intently at his two masters, he was currently analyzing their every move.

"You guys wanna g-"

"We'll go."

Before Tatsumaki can finish what she was saying. Kenji immediately answered her question.

Sonic and Genos nodded at him, signalling that they were going too.

"Isn't it rude to interrupt someone while they are speaking?" Tatsumaki's complaint passed through Kenji's ears.

All he was thinking about was the kitchen.

"Anyways we will go after we finish eating our meals." They nodded their heads on what Tatsumaki said and continued to eat silently.

*Cling*

The small bell above the door echoed throughout the room, signalling that another customer arrived.

A tall blue haired man could be seen walking inside.

"Ah! It's Amai Mask!" A female customer squealed at the sight of Amai Mask entering the restaurant.

The whole restaurant was in uproar when they heard the scream.

"You're right!"

"Gyah! Amai Mask! I love you!"

"Can I please shake your hand?"

Amai Mask just smiled at the customers and went to Kenji's table.

"Ugh, the annoying star is here." Tatsumaki grumbled. What's so good about this guy?

When Amai Mask heard what she said, tick marks could be seen on his forehead. Veins also appeared at his neck.

He then regained his composure and smiled.

He ignored the grumbling small woman and looked at Kenji.

"You must be Kenji. I'm Amai Mask, Class A Rank 1. I'd like to talk to you," Amai Mask smiled at Kenji and said.

Kenji has this weird feeling when he saw Amai Mask's face, but he doesn't know what it was.

'Why does my instincts tell me to beat this man up?' Kenji thought.

"Sure." Kenji replied to Amai Mask and stood up.

Both of them went outside to talk.

Tatsumaki, Saitama, Sonic, and Genos continued eating their food while waiting for Kenji.

At Kenji's side,

"I heard you defeated 2 Disaster Level Dragon monsters in a matter of seconds." Amai Mask looked at him and smiled.

"So?" Kenji was feeling impatient at the moment. His instincts were telling him to beat him up.

"A professional hero must always be a beautiful symbol of justice. That's my philosophy." Amai Mask looked at Kenji intently.

"It's especially true if you guys are S-Class Heroes." Amai Mask continued while he looked at Kenji glaring at him.

"Is that all?" Kenji doesn't understand what he was feeling right now.

"Don't look at me like that, I came here just to see you." Amai Mask smiled at Kenji and said.

"If you're here for a fight just say so!" Kenji took a battle stance. He was being impatient today.

Amai Mask gently raised his hand and creepily smiled,

"Being hot-blooded is fine, but if you take it too far... You'll get burnt."

Amai Mask then walked away leaving an irritated Kenji behind.

"I don't know if i want to beat him up because of the weird vibe his giving out or his arrogance," Kenji scratched his head and went back to the restaurant.

Kenji could see that they were all done eating.

"Yo Kenji! How did it go?" Saitama looked at the slightly irritated Kenji.

"My instincts were telling me to beat him up." Kenji replied.

"Huh? Doesn't your instincts react if you're looking at or sensing bad entities?"

"You tend to get really impatient when you either sense, see, or smell bad entities."

"Your instincts reacted the most when we were in the Dark Continent."

"But you always hold it back and force yourself to calm down."

Saitama said. He was currently confused about what's happening.

"Well, whatever. Hey midget! Take us to the dorm!" Kenji exclaimed.

"Didn't I say to stop calling me midg- ugh whatever." Tatsumaki rolled her eyes while they exited the restaurant.

5 minutes later, At the entrance of the S-Class "dorm",

The four men looked at the tall ass building in front of them and gasped.

"What are you guys doing? Go inside!" Tatsumaki yelled at them.

They went inside and talked to the counter.

"We expected your arrivals." The attendant scanned the four men with her eyes and said.

"Here's you room card. Your room number is written at the bottom of the card."

"This card will be used to gain access to your room and other facilities, like bars, swimming pools, and even casinos only S-Class Heroes could get access to." The attendant carefully explained.

They thanked the attendant and went inside an elevator.

They went to the highest floor and waited.

*Ding*

They finally arrived at their floor. They got off the elevator and walked inside.

Multiple doors could be seen with numbers placed on it.

Kenji looked at his card, "Room 17" was written at the bottom.

"Hey guys, which rooms are you in?" Kenji looked at them and asked.

"I'm in room 18." Saitama replied.

"I'm in room 19, Teacher." Sonic looked at his card and replied.

"I'm in room 20, Kenji-sensei!" Genos exclaimed.

"What about you midget?" Kenji looked at Tatsumaki and asked.

"I'm in Room 2." Tatsumaki has already given up about the "midget" thing and replied.

"Are the rooms related to our rankings?" Kenji asked Tatsumaki.

"No, It's just numbered on who got their cards first." Tatsumaki replied.

She already knew what room Kenji will be in since he's the first one to receive a card from the four.

'His room is so far away...'

'W-What am I thinking! It's not like I care or anything!.' Tatsumaki covered her face to hide her blushing face.

"What's wrong? Not feeling well?" Kenji patted Tatsumaki's head.

She felt bliss when Kenji's hand touched her small head.

Seconds later, she snapped back to reality and smacked away Kenji's hand.

"I'm fine..." Tatsumaki replied while covering her face with her hands.

"Well, If you say so." Kenji patted her head again. This time Tatsumaki didn't smack his hand away.

"Alright! I'm going to check my room then." Kenji went in front of a door that has 'Room 17' placed in it.

He then placed his card on a black box beside the door which is an electric door lock.

*Beep*

The door opened and Kenji went inside his assigned room.

The three guys also went to check their rooms while Tatsumaki went back to her room.

Inside Kenji's room,

Kenji saw a large living room with a long fancy couch, 60 inch curved flat screen TV pasted on the wall.

There is also a small table in front the couch to place your things or your food.

"Dang, just the living room and it's already two times bigger than my old room." Kenji looked around and was amazed by the hotel room.

He immediately went into the kitchen. This is what he was waiting for!

His eyes widened when he saw what's in front of him.

Two large refrigerators could be seen at the side. Beside it, was a counter were that was bigger than his old counter.

Every thing he needed was there, a stove, an oven, a sink, etc. There also large cabinets above the appliances.

He went to where the fridge is and opened it.

Cold air blasted Kenji's face like a storm. The temperature is pretty low.

'Looks like I don't need to go to get groceries from the supermarket then.'

Kenji saw multiple things inside the fridge. High quality of meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, condiments, etc.

He then opened the second fridge. He could see all kinds of beverages inside. Wine, beer, soda, orange juices, water bottles, etc.

Kenji took the water bottle and drank it to soothe his dry throat. He then went to check the bathroom.

*Shing*

Kenji covered his eyes because the bathroom was so bright.

'Bright?' Kenji took another look at the room. It's not bright! it was cleaned so well that the whole room is shiny!

He could see three small shower rooms, a large hot tub. The bathtub was two times bigger than his whole apartment room.

There's also a jacuzzi at the corner of the room.

"This hotel room is amazing!" Kenji screamed. This is the most high-class place he has ever been!

*Ding* *Dong*

The doorbell resounded throughout the room.

Kenji flashed in front of the door and opened it.

A man in a suit appeared before Kenji.

"Sir, we have taken the things in your apartment." The man pointed at his men, who were carrying boxes.

"Ah, thank you. You can leave it there." Kenji thanked the man while he pointed at the floor in front of him.

"No problem, sir." The man saluted and ordered his men to put the boxes down.

The men in suits gently placed the boxes in front of Kenji and walked away.

Kenji stacked the boxes and carried them inside the room.

He placed them on the table and sat on the couch.

He then opened the boxes and took the things inside and put them all over his room.

He took the box where his clothes are kept and went to his bedroom.

Sure enough, the bedroom is also fancy. A lava lamp was placed in a desk beside his king sized bed, a large closet at the left side, and a study place at the right side of the room.

He put all of his clothes in the closet, laid on the bed and dozed off.

Hours later,

*Ding* *Dong*

The doorbell rang again. Kenji sat up and left his bedroom. He then walked in front of the door and opened it.

"Kenji, let's go!" Saitama yelled while he looked at Kenji.

"Teacher, we were asked to come in the banquet hall on the first floor." Sonic looked at Kenji and informed his teacher.

"They said they're holding a welcome party for us." Genos reported.

"Come on, Slowpoke! We're going to be late!" Tatsumaki scolded Kenji.

Kenji was now completely awake and noticed the three guys were wearing fancy suits.

Saitama kinda looks cool now, He wore a black suit over his white polo, black leggings, black necktie.and black leather shoes

Genos wore a blue suit that was neatly buttoned up to his chest, blue leggings, black necktie, and black leather shoes.

Sonic's attire looked exactly the same as Saitama but he messily wore his suit.

Tatsumaki wore her signature black dress and black heels while she floated on the air.

"Um, why are you guys wearing suits?" Kenji asked.

"They said that since we are the center of their attention, we were given these suits." Saitama replied to Kenji.

"Wait! I'll go change now!" Kenji disappeared in front of them and went to his bedroom.

Kenji opened his closet and looked for a suit.

Even though he wasn't given one, he was still prepared for every occasion.

'Ah! Here it is!" Kenji took a black suit from the closet.

He also took a black necktie, black polo to go with his suit, and brown leather shoes.

He then changed his clothes. He neatly buttoned up his suit to his neck and wore his necktie.

He actually pierced his ears when he was 20 years old, thinking he would look like a bad boy.

But he was then scolded by his mother, but he still wore earrings secretly whenever she wasn't around.

His mother then gave up scolding him and gifted him black earrings.

He was happy that he received a gift from his mother and wore it every day.

He picked up his black earrings that was in a box. This was the last gift his mother gave before she died.

Kenji signed and walked in front of a mirror. He then attached it to his ear.

He then styled his messy hair, since it was an important occasion.

He then wore black gloves he found in his closet, since he felt like it would look cool.

He then walked back to the group waiting for him.

Their eyes widened when they saw Kenji looking completely different, except for Saitama.

Since they've been together for a long time, he wasn't fazed at all.

"Wha- Isn't that a little overboard?!" Tatsumaki glanced at Kenji's attire and scolded him.

'Well, not gonna lie, he looks cool.' Tatsumaki shook her head as she blushed.

They then went to the first floor where the banquet hall was located.
