Three soldiers crossed their paths. Ryan Lim originally wants to be an artist but was forced by his grandfather to join the army. Soldier's Oath

Barrack, It is already 10:00 in the evening, the soldiers are preparing for their evening jog. 


"Hey, have you heard that Captain Hernandez went to the General' s office awhile ago?", One of them murmur. 


Sighed," Another war" Michael said in a cold tone. 


They stood up properly when they heard Captain Hernandez' s footsteps. 


Mika saluted back, " May I speak with you?" 


Ezekiel automatically left the room, Mika followed. 


The rest of the soldiers sighed," There they go again..." 


That Evening," war again, right?", One of them asked. 


Simon glance at Ezekiel," Major Ramos, What did Captain said to you? Is there a war coming?" 


The others looked at Ezekiel in curiosity. 


At the shower room, Ezekiel is taking a bath. He closed his eyes as he gently comb his hair by his hand, his nice six pack abs is showing. 


He stood in front of the mirror, he looked at his reflection. You could see his " Peace" tattoo at his left chest, Infinity at the back of his ears, and word " Philippines" at his left ring finger. 


He gently touched his scar at his right chest, sighed. 


Mika silently watch the stars from the sky, sighed, "They're so peaceful" 


She drank the whole bottle of coffee as she write her death letter. 


Next day, They boarded a helicopter to Cagayan de Oro. 


As soon as they get off the helicopter, they immediately went to the barracks of the Philippine Navy. 


"Captain Hernandez, sir", Mika and her comrades saluted towards Vice Admiral Dizon. 


Saluted, Vice Admiral Dizon smiled at Mika, "how are you, Mika?" 


Vice Admiral Dizon chuckled," That's good, my dearest niece, Mika" 


Mika smiled sweetly, " it's good to see you, uncle ben" 


Woah! they're Family of Military Officials... 


So, Vice Admiral Dizon is Captain Hernandez' s Uncle? 


Mika and her uncle chuckled as they secretly listen to the Soldier' s conversation. 


Vice Admiral Dizon stood In front of them," I hope we could do our best to maintain the peace of our country" 


They went to their Barracks to fix their things. While, Mika went to her uncle' s office to have a chat. 


Ben drank the coffee given by Mika," the last time we saw each other is when..." 


" My Graduation, and that was 10 years ago...", Mika continued. 


Ben chuckled," so are you married? If I'm not mistaken, you're already 33 years old" 


"Unfortunately, No, at a meantime I want to focus on my job" 


" she's fine, after retiring 8 years ago, she started a Book shop, and it became really successful" 


" That's good! You're just like your mother, she's stunning, fearless, and caring" 


The day ended too soon, it's already midnight, everyone is asleep except of Mika. 


Mika silently watches the scar on her wrist that Ryan gave her when he accidentally push her on the ground. 


Mika smiled and looked from the distance," I'm quite lucky to have this scar, at least I have a deep remembrance from you...",sighed.
