Chapter six: Confusion

FEW WEEKS LATER

Mika remembered how Ryan pointed the gun on her without any emotions.

" Does he still know me?", She murmured.

"Captain!"

"Omo!", Mika immediately put the water bottle on the table in shock, and immediately wiped the wet table and floor.

Her colleague approached her,

" Captain, are you fine? I noticed that, since last last week after returning from China you've been a little distracted, are you okay?"

Am I?," Of course!", Mika nodded.

While doing their morning jog, Ezekiel called her.

"Captain"

"Major Ramos, what's the matter?", Mika confusedly asked.

Sigh," I did some research about the issue between China and Philippines, and I don't think they're the one who did it..."

"What's that!", One of the soldiers pointed the jets above.

Chinese," RUN!!!", Mika yelled.

The Philippine Soldiers quickly took their guns out and start shooting the jets passing above them.

The Chinese Jets gradually dropped bombs on the land where Mika and her team are standing. Everyone run to the storage and took a lot of bullets.

The General ordered the others to get their tanks, and their Military Aircrafts.

"This is a War...", Mika thought.," we're not prepared..."

Everyone is fighting, a lot of Philippine soldiers died while there's only few Chinese died. The General called on many allies to help because of an ongoing war between China and Philippines. Everyone is in a lot of trouble, many houses have been destroyed due to bombs, civilians are running and shouting, many are crying in fear. The other soldiers lead the civilians to military aircraft to keep them safe in a safer place.

A lot of children we're crying," what are we gonna do!!"

The others were wounded.

Despite the fear of the Philippine soldiers, they forced their partners to rescue civilians, they forced their partners to fight for their rights, some cried while desperately shooting at their opponents, while others were wounded but used the remaining force to help their comrades defend the town.

Mika' s world seemed to stop while she was watching how desperate her colleagues were, she felt that she was not the only one with tears dripping while trying to keep the enemies, she looked at her uncle, "uncle !!", She screamed as she immediately went to her dying uncle, her uncle was shot on his left chest, her uncle, who was lying on her lap, seemed to bathed on his own blood.

In just few seconds her uncle died, after saying, " Protect our country"

Mika slowly laid her uncle on the grass, She wiped her tears and stood up," I will"

Because of Anger, she gained a lot of strength to kill a lot of enemies.

Her hands and uniform were filled with blood.

She pointed her gun to the Chinese soldier who was turning his back.

Mika just couldn't stop crying as she aimed the gun at the Man' s nape.

Mika was filled with anger but in some reason she can't press the trigger of the gun she's holding.

The man slowly faced her, and He was kinda amused on the girl' s crying face," we met again", he thought.

Mika was kinda shocked when she saw Ryan in front of her, wearing a military uniform.

"Ryan...", Her sobs became louder.

RYAN' s POV

"Ryan...", Her sobs became louder.

Does she know me? Why can't she press the trigger? This is her chance, but why?

"Who are you?", I asked.

She looked at me with confused expression," You don't know me...?"

" I do"

She wiped her tears off and firmly pointed the gun on my chest.

THIRD PERSON' s POV

"Ryan, I'm giving you 10 seconds to escape, or else", She said firmly," I'll kill you"

He took few steps towards Mika," Can you?"

"I-", Mika' s eyes widened when Ryan snatched her Gun, and push her roughly on the ground," How can you-"

Sigh, Ryan pointed the gun towards Mika," I'm giving you 10 seconds to escape-"

"Captain!", His comrades called him.

His eyes widened," You leave me no choice", Ryan shot Mika' s shoulder.

"Ah!", Mika squealed in pain.

Ryan mouthed the word "Leave" as he look at the direction of his comrade.

"Fuck you", Mika mouthed as she ran away.
