-The month of Wynnethel, the 1st, year ATC 3,527-
The Dark Duons surprise lasted but a millisecond before he threw one of his heavy fists towards Heiracles, hoping to try to catch the young Prince off guard. However, Heiracles wasn't expecting it to be easy and quickly dodged the incoming fist. Using the Dark Duons momentum against itself, he side-stepped, grabbing his wrist he flipped the Dark Duon onto his back as Heiracles tapped into the element of Fire, slowly releasing small flame wheels that burnt the Darks wrist in minuscule increments to remind him of who exactly he was dealing with.
"Let us try this once again.. " Heiracles spit out through his already gritted teeth, "Tell. Me. Everything."
But before he could further restrain the Dark, with the natural strength of Dark Duon being 3 times that of most normal Duon from the Northern hemisphere he fought through the pain, pushing Heiracles off of him and halfway towards the balcony, he quickly got up, running for the doorway to the waiting room attached to Heiracles and his wife's bedchamber.
"Wizar's are needed!", the Dark bellowed out, only to have a look of surprise cross his face as he heard his own voice reverberate back to him.
Looking back at Heiracles, he muttered under his breath, "So the King was right, his children ARE hiding things from him.. ", as he finished the statement he turned back around, knowing that, even though he had physical superiority over the young Prince. This was going to be a one-sided fight, but knew if he could hold him long enough, someone would come looking. Lots of someones.
The Dark readied himself, getting into a fighting stance before charging once again at Heiracles.
Heiracles moves to do the same counter as he previously did, only to a look of surprise blooming across his face as the Dark expecting this, shifted their stance at the last moment to leg-sweep him, forcing the wind from his lungs as he landed flat on his back. This act alone made him lose control of the barrier of Wind he had placed around the whole bed chamber, the breeze blowing in from the balcony giving testament to this.
The Dark, realizing his chance shouts again for his brethren, "Come! Quick! W-", not able to get out any more before Heiracles had pushed himself up from the floor and launched himself at the Dark so quickly he had not only any chance to act, but a belated reaction to not being able to speak, or even breath any longer, for that matter. He turns slowly to Heiracles, whom has somehow moved from infront of him on the ground to slightly behind him to his right, he opens his mouth about to speak but no words come out. This is the moment he realizes that he can now feel a warm liquid trickling down the front of his body and notices something in Heiracles's hard at the same time his hand reaches where his throat once used to be before collapsing to one side, gasping his last breaths before the light leaves his eyes.
Heiracles, looking down at the now lifeless body with disgust, before opening his hand and releasing the pattern of Air that tore the Dark Duons trachea from the surrounding neck muscle and tissue, "Disgusting bit of work you had me do, but getting out of the castle, let alone the city, will be hard enough. even moreso, now.. " He sighs, wiping his hand on his floor length trenchcoat to remove blood that never touched him. "No helping it, I suppose.. Ila! Mu!"
He slams into the dressing room door nearly breaking off its hinges simply from both the pattern of Air he placed around his arms to enhance his muscle strength and the adrenaline rushing through his veins. "We got to get out of the castle, now, follow me."

I want to dedicate a section of each chapter to the love of my life, Kreation. For supporting my dream and urging me forward on my desires to finally 'put pen to paper', so to speak by writing out my book for you all to read, thank you so much for the support and love. 🥰
