ch 18. the love we share

"JUNGKOOK!" joon held him in his arms, jin and jimin ran fast inside to get help. suga and tae dealt with viper.

few days later:

joon was still in the worst mood. he didnt have a chance to kill viper. kook was brought to hospital with a hellicopter, because of his injury. he survived the surgery, but now they had to wait if kook made it or not. not knowing how to cope with this, joon was between hope and desperation. he even went to the prison church to get some comfort. in all he could do was to wait and hope that kook fought for his life. the boys kept him close. no matter how this battle gonna end, they would be there for him. but they feard the worse, if kook wouldnt make it. joon will go on a murderous spree, they knew it.

viper was into solitary for his safety. brenner didnt like that. he would prefer to let him getting shredded by joon, for what he had done. but he was with the law. gunner on the other side hadnt got such problems. after the boys got marco out of the picture, he was willing to help them in every way. he let jin and jimin into the solitary ward at night and opend vipers door. the next morning started with chaos. a dead and gruesome body was found in the solitary cell. inqurys started to find out how this could happend. there were no witnesses and the key to the cells was not found. "it was my duty to do it!" joon whisperd angry at jin. "they would be suspicious at u first!" jimin nodded. "your hands will be clean. and everybody know that there are a lot of men who wanna do u a favour" joon sighed and looked up as brenner came to their table. "namjoon. i know it wasnt u. do have an idea?" joon shook his head. "a lot of people owe me a favour" he stated. "this is fucking shit! i have enough of dead bodys! u hear me?!" he turned and walked away angry. doc spencer came along. "wow he is pissed. congrats on the kill of the year!" joon looked annoyed. "wasnt me unfortunatly" "no fortunatly! otherwise u wouldnt have the chance to see jungkook soon" joon shot up from his seat. "what u mean?!" "he is up and out of danger. he will be here soon again." joon hugged the doc, the others smiled and hugged them too. "thank u! oh thank u!" joon cried.

kook woke up and moaned due to the pain. the nurse smiled at him. "hey! look whos back!" kook smacked his lips. the nurse gave him an icecube. "slowly! the doctor will come soon, okay?" kook closed his eyes and nodded. he had vivid dreams and he was relieved to survive. "joonie?" he whisperd. the nurse furrowed her brows. "sorry, i have no idea who that is. doctor spencer will come later!"kook nodded again. hours later doc spencer came. "jungkook! u are truly a fighter!" kook was awake now and sat in the bed. he looked better. doc took his sheet and looked on it. "vitals looks all good. gonna have a nice scar now. u escape death very close young man. a few millimeters more to the right and he would pierce your heart. u are a lucky bastard!" kook smiled. "when can i go back" "hold your horses! first u ll get better, than we will talk about transfer." "joon?" "nobody wants to be near him." kook looked alarmed. "u should tell him fast, that i am still alive! or you will have more bodys in the end of today" doc chuckeld and nodded his head. kook gave him a letter for joon.

joon sat in his box and read the letter for the 50th time. it was short but sweet. he was so happy.

days later:

kook came back. he walked in with wobbly legs, but he walked. joon hugged him carefully and lovingly. "hey love" he whisperd. "hey back love" kook replied. joon got him in his arms and carried him to their cell. tae, jimin, suga and jin waited for him and they had a small party for kookie. after they went their way, joon mostly shusht them out, he carried kook to the bed and layed him down. "joon! look at me!" joon raised his head. "it was not your fault. it wasnt mine either. it was vipers. he had the knife, he wanted to kill!" "i thought we were through that! i am not a bird anymore. i am your respected partner. i can defend myself and it is also my duty to keep danger from u! u did it for me, i did it now for u! stop bitching!" joon looked wide eyed at him. he sighed, smirked than and stood up. "sorry partner" kook smiled and held his arms out. "can i get a hug?" joon smiled back and huged him tight. "i missed u so much" "i am still here."

"i made a plan" jimin looked at jin. "who u gonna throw on the rails?" jin smirked. "god i love u! some of the bear clan. these inbred hillibillys are annoying as fuck. i already started the bust. joon and yoongi would be safe. and we get out soon." jimin locked jins face into his hands. "cant wait to start a new life with u" they kissed deeply.

in the next few days there were some raids into the bear clan cells. the guards found enough evidence to some uncleared deaths including vipers, drug trade evidence and some other nasty things. the fbi was satisfied with jins work and granted him his get out soon. also jimin got his get out date. they all sat together for dinner and talked about their plans. kook and tae were sad to loose their best friend so soon. jimin reassured them that they will meet again outside and will have a party. "dont be sad! time will be over soon and u will be out too. than we will live near each other, okay?" tae cried a bit. "it wont be the same not seeing u every day..." suga put his arm around him. "the good thing is, if u ever need some bodyguards, u just call me!" jin smiled. "so its security? hm it fits u" joon nodded.
