Once the maid left, Lilo exhaled loudly

Familiar? uh familiar? what happened to beautiful? or even Amazing? she asked herself and laughed softly. After doing her usual survey in this luxurious room. She went to lay on the bed, as her back touched the soft mattress she smiled softly, closing her eyes and enjoying the moment.

"Oh how wonderful the mattresses are in this mansion", she said with a soft whisper. After a fleeting seconds she opened her eyes. But the people of this mansion are not so wonderful, she thought but then shook the thought away.

No.. no.. it's just "him!" it's just "the devil!" she said in a whisper and she nodded slowly.

Looking up the ceiling she saw another drawing, confused of why the people of this Mansion are strangely into drawings.

Another one.. she said softly looking at it intently, trying to study the design.

Lilo couldn't hold the flashes of the drawings being so familiar..

So she went to stand at the balcony, she heard the birds singing beautiful songs, the sky was light purple in color and of course the sun shone so brilliantly on the beautiful garden that has enchanting flowers, the trees were strangely not moving, the cold breeze hits on her slender skin and she exhaled softly smiling at the serenity, it was perfect.. Just when she thought it was perfect..

"Calling me names won't help the situation you know, a deep voice that startled the perfect day light out of her said and she almost jumped out of the window".

Lilo lost her breath in that moment with her hands on her chest trying to recover after the 'devil's entranced'

"How many times [she gulped] do I have to tell you not to startle me again, she shouted, not happy that he does this on purpose just to scare her, she glared a him. And don't you know how to knock? she asked with heavy breathing".

Jaden chuckled loudly and walked slowly towards her, being "the devil he was", Lilo grasped at the little action. The devil has a very delightful way of walking towards her, no.. no.. not "delightful", she shook the thoughts away quickly. He has a good holding on scaring the day light out of her, she nodded in her thoughts ...and also giving her the butterfly feeling.. no.. no.. not "the butterfly", she shook her head as she narrowed her eyes at him.

Well beautiful, [he walked closer to where she stood] I don't need to throw you out of the window anymore because it's obvious you can do it yourself, he teased.

"Of course I can do it.." she said sarcastically.

"Go on then, it's been a long time since I watched a show", he said [stressing the "long"]

"What..? no! I won't",she gave him a steaming look. Lilo was already getting used to his usual ranting, now she doesn't have to feel bad or too scared around him.

"I thought as much, scardy cat, he said with his infectious smile that sent something to Lilo. She almost smiled but frowned immediately".

"It is better that I am a scardy cat than be a brave dog", she said confused of what she just said.

What's that? Jaden asked also confused

"I don't know.." I'm confused myself, she said biting her lower lip.

"I don't seem to understand"

It's obvious judging by the way your biting your lip, he shook his head and chuckled and Lilo chuckled along with him.

He went to sit on the couch and Lilo followed, it was soft as well, Lilo thought happily.

Silence filled the room as they both sat looking at each other awkwardly.

"Why are there so many drawings?" she finally asked to break the silence.

"Drawings?" he asked obliviously

"Yes drawings", she frowned at his usual attitude.

Oh.. this and that and the ones on the other rooms and at the main door?

Yes.. yes.. Exactly, she responded curiously.

"I should be asking you Lilo, he said with a smirk".

Me? How? Why..? she laughed for the first time and Jaden was infected by it.

Seeing the change of expression on his face Lilo gulped softly.

It's been so long since I saw you laugh or even smile, he said with a calm expression.

What do you mean, she muttered, Sometimes you confuse me Jaden, she called his name for the first time after so many years.

At least there is work in progress, he said as he tuck in the baby hair behind her ear, she gave him a small smile.

So tell me, she coax him trying to keep the conversation, when she didn't get any response she continued..

"I mean i- I am not the owner of this jagantic mansion.."

Exactly but you made the drawings, he said calmly.

"What.. she huffed, no, she stressed the [no] come on don't be sarcastically, I don't even know how to draw a cat properly, she said thinking of an imaginary cat".

"So a cat is the first thing that came to your mind?" he raised his brows waiting for an answer that might not come anytime soon.

Huh? she behaved oblivious, giving her a knowing look she cleared her throat.

I uhm didn't uhm I -- exhaling heavily she said, Yes that's the first thing that came on my mind, she narrowed her eyes at him.

Interesting and intriguing, he beamed at her.

What? how is this even intriguing? she gave him the look that says, "pervert!"

But you agree it's interesting, right?

I -- I - I don't know, just I don't know okay?

Now you look like that dog you talked about, he teased.

"I know.. she said, wa- wait what..?", she frowned at him.

How could he say that to her? he uses anything she says against her, like it was nothing.

I look like no such thing, she huffed.

You mean no such dog? he asked teasingly and she frowned even more.

Oh come on, you don't believe me? he said with sarcasm.

Stop being sarcastic okay?, she sighed

"I can't.. he laughed, it's funny though, I mean imagine you were that "brave dog" would you really jump? judging by what you said earlier".

Lilo glared at him for fleeting seconds and then said, I prefer the scardy cat.

[LAUGHING]

Ahahaha.. really? I didn't know you could change your mind really fast, he said with a chuckle.

Just leave it, okay?

Well of course, he said with a smirk.

Come with me, he gave his hand for her to hold but she hesitated.

"I can help myself", she insisted. Where are we going?

To get you married.. what else scardy cat?

What? you psycho, she frowned slightly.

Stay closely and don't stray, unless you want to be a meal, he took a glance at Lilo who was already glaring, with a smirk plastered on his face he walked gracefully.

Psycho! she murmured.
