Changing clothes

Only for a moment, Kaili's mind wandered, her soul quickly returned to the present reality. From such a close relationship, now the two of them were very far away. Like fire and water, it was impossible to put it together.

Besides, somethings made Kaili very insecure. She always felt that her right to love has run aground. She was very inappropriate for him. Whenever the memory of that night when an unknown man took away her chastity as a woman, that instant the self-confidence and arrogance she instilled dims.

The old Kaili had gone. Now she was just an insecure person, especially when it came to love. Dexter silently watched Kaili's expression suddenly gloomy, making his forehead frown again.

Dexter approached the bed, leaning towards Kaili. This made Kaili jolt from her past thoughts.

"Ah, sorry! I'm going out now. You ... Sorry, I was just about to go out earlier. Please put your clothes on," Kaili said and left.

Dexter didn't try to hold back, his expression still the same, like a human with facial nerve paralysis.

However, just as Kaili was about to stand up, suddenly all went dark. She felt dizzy. Everything seemed to shake.

Was there an earthquake coming? She asked herself while massaging her forehead.

Dexter had been watching her since earlier and now he was ready behind Kaili, just in case the woman fell unconscious. Otherwise, Dexter wouldn't have bothered to help her. He was too lazy to ask Kaili to just sit down.

So what if she stayed here while Dexter was changing clothes? Weren't they husband and wife? Why should she be ashamed?

Was she so desperate to distance herself from me? Thought Dexter.

When such thoughts flashed into his head, Dexter stepped back. Suddenly his heart was hot. Filled with anger. If Kaili thought so, why should he care? If she passed out, it was her fault. No one asked her to leave, Dexter said to himself.

However, only two steps back, Kaili was about to collapse. Spontaneously, Dexter caught her. Their eyes met, very close. Dexter's slanted eyes were as sharp as an eagle staring at Kaili's green pupils. In the glare of Kaili's jade-like eyes, appeared Dexter's handsome face.

Kaili did not immediately evade, although now there was a chance for her to stand up, she wasted the opportunity. Let alone, if only in this way could she be close without distance from Dexter, then she was very willing to fall many times and be anchored on her husband's broad chest. Yes, she really was selfish! If it wasn't for her selfishness, how could her soft-looking mouth ever speak harshly to Dexter?

Thinking about her past mistakes, Kaili's heart throbbed. It hurt! Even though she was the one who swore curses, not the one who received cursing.

Without uttering any words, Dexter who had seen Kaili's tired eyes earlier immediately carried her onto the bed. Kaili was very confused by Dexter's current treatment.

"Thank you. But I'm fine. I have to go out. Don't you want to change clothes? I won't make you wait," Kaili said and got back up.

Dexter gave her a cold gaze. His eagle-tailed eyes always stare at Kaili, as if to tell her, if you dare to move, I will scratch you!

Being stared at like that, made Kaili's guts shrink. She sat down quietly again and did not move.

Still not wearing clothes and the towel was still wrapped around his waist, Dexter went out of the room.

'Maybe he wants to wear clothes in the living room,' thought Kaili. The woman stretched her legs, wanting to go back to sleep.

It wasn't long before Dexter returned. Bring a set of cutlery. Kaili gasped and sat up like a little girl caught quoting her mother's favorite flower petals.

Dexter saw it but paid no heed to it. Instead, he walked to the sofa, then opened the paper bag he had been carrying. Take the packages inside, take out the contents and arrange them on the plate.

Still, without speaking a word, he carried Kaili back to the sofa, in front of the food that was already served.

"Ah, this ...?" Kaili looked at Dexter questioningly. She really didn't understand. Wasn't Dexter currently angry with her? Moreover, the attitude of her parents in the morning was clearly very condescending to the man.

Kaili looked into the depths of Dexter's eyes as if she wanted to find an answer to the confusion that gripped her. However, that man's expression was always like that. Cold, calm, no expression at all.

Unable to detect, he was angry, happy, upset, emotional, hurt, and others. That's right, this man was born with a paralyzed face.

"Eat!" said Dexter, still cold but there was no emotion inside.

"Eh, okay, yes. I'll eat."
