Richard woke up with a soft curse. He could already tell without opening his eyes that he had ended up falling asleep in a bed that was not his own which meant he hadn't made it back to his house. He surmised that he must have drank too much when he felt the weight of the small body curled up against him. He remembered Valentina coming in with Melissa and bits of what happened after that between their interactions and the conversation that was going on in the background. Everything following that became too hazy for him to recall no matter how he tried to think the matter over.
The only thing that he could guess was that if he hadn't ended up falling asleep at home, he must've fallen asleep at one of the rooms in the club. Daniel didn't usually let guests stay into the late hours of the night since he didn't have the money yet to hire security that could keep an eye on things overnight when he had to be elsewhere. Richard himself was an exception of course as the owner trusted him enough to not make trouble, he never cared how long he stayed or if he ever went home before sunrise though Richard himself never made it much of a habit to stay the night since he had work in the morning.
Fumbling around next to himself in the dark he managed to find his phone next to his waist, a habit he was happy he didn't lose even when he was drunk. Bringing up as close as he could to his face in order to not disturb his sleeping companion, he brought up the lock-screen to see what time it was. The display read back that it was 4:30 am. Turning the display off he closed his eyes. It would be pointless for him to bother heading home to go back to sleep at this point, he needed to be to work in three hours. Turning his head, he looked at the small girl sleeping next to him. He couldn't remember enough of the nigh to know if he had been too rough with her or not. Even though he was always the one in control, he rarely took partners when he had too much to drink because he didn't like not being able to recall what happened and how he behaved with them.
Running his hand through his hair, Richard shift on the bed slightly to move closer to the edge. Valentina made soft sounding noise but still appeared to be asleep. He liked his control when he was actually the one in control of what he was doing, not when other things were throwing his senses off.
Standing up while making as little noise as possible, he turned around and grabbed his phone before pulling the thick blanket further over the other. Waking up women was something he tried his best to avoid doing unless it was morning, and he knew they like him had to get to work. He found that women tended to be in one of three moods in the morning and none of them were moods he enjoyed dealing with.
Richard had had numerous sexual interactions with Valentina before as she was one of the girls who had been at the club the longest, but never before had he actually fallen asleep in the same space with to know how she would react to waking up. He didn't know what to do at this point. He didn't think that it was a wise call to leave the girl alone in the room while he left, no one was probably left at the club as it usually closed after two which was when Walter went home. Daniel was probably with Melissa which meant he couldn't be bothered. He needed a plan that wasn't going to put him in a troublesome situation as there was no way he would skip work just because of a mistake like this that he made.
Moving around the room making as little noise as possible, he managed to locate his clothes which were neatly folded on the table that was on the other end of the room along with a pitch and glass which appeared to be holding water. Thoughtful as always he mused picking up the clothes in order to dress himself. He rarely suffered from a hangover but there was never such a thing as too much water after consuming alcohol.
Once he had successfully dressed himself, he moved to sit down at the chair that was opposite of the table. He had time to determine what the best answer to the situation was before he had to be home to shower and tidy up before work. Opening his phone again, he dimmed the display to make sure it wouldn't be too bright before he began to scroll through his notifications to see what he had missed. He had received some mixed texts from Daniel, and probably Melissa as well as she never had any qualms about taking his phone to use it for herself when they were spending time together. His friend had assured him it would be fine he spent the night along with Valentina since she was never a troublemaker. He assumed it was Melissa who sent him the text to remind him to find him non-existent polite manners when dealing with her regardless of if he was drunk or not. He determined that he would bother with replying to them later if he remembered. He moved next to a text message from a number that he didn't recognize that caused him to narrow his eyes when he opened it up. Inside was a photo of a contract and one message that said 'I signed it, but we are going to need to talk tomorrow.'. It was a polite message, but he didn't find it amusing in the slightest as he knew that he had never given that girl access to his phone or his phone number herself for her to be able to text him on her own. That was something he was going to have to deal with pretty early on. Another message he was going to reply back to later when he felt less annoyed and also after he decided what his schedule for the day was going to be. Perhaps he wasn't going to have time today to reply and meet and she could wait until the next time he felt was good.
Getting up he made his way back over to the bed. His mood at been set for the morning and he decided that he needed more time than just for a shower before work.
"Little one." He coaxed, his voice low yet firm as he tried to wake up the girl who was still sleeping on the bed. "I know it's early still and I'm the reason you stayed, but I have things I must do." Valentina made a sound between a whine and a sigh as she was trying to wake up. It was evident she was having a hard time. He gently brushed his hand through her hair in attempt to help and remind her that she had not fallen asleep alone.
"I'm sorry Sir." The mumbled words fell off her lips as she began to further wake up. The girl was definitely tired and Richard couldn't actually remember a time that he had been to the club that he'd seen her take a day off.
"Don't apologize, it's a time when good ones should be sleeping. It's just the wrong place to be sleeping." He replied removing his hand and taking a step back to allow her to sit up without feeling uncomfortable.
"Is it morning already?" She asked, a weariness creeping into her voice as she tried to gauge the time by looking around the room.
"It's five, but I think you should take the day off. I'll take you back home and text Daniel about it to make sure you get paid as well." Her eyes light up when he said this as she looked up at him.
"Are you sure Sir? We didn't actually do much of anything last night. I'm not sure it would be right for me to be paid."
"I'll take care of it." Was Richards simple reply. "Get ready and I will be waiting for you outside the room." He told her as he got ready to leave the room to give her the space to be presentable.
