"Let go of me you psycho woman! "
"I warned you but you didn't listen! " She said sadly, shaking her head. She had knocked him down with the non pointy end of the knife and tied him up to a strong metallic pole nearby with his own pants. Glad that the man was wearing an underwear, she saved herself from the embarrassment of seeing his naked body. He regained his consciousness after quite long and was staring at her in disbelief.
"Look at you Mr. Lee Jun. Pathetic. What will the media say seeing this condition of yours!?" Lyra sighed, crossing her hands over her chest.
"The media!? What do you mean!? " He was struggling to be free. She smirked at the paper stuck to his naked chest that read "This is what you deserve for touching innocent girls with your horny hands. "
"Well will you look at that! I was here to build a career but look what you made me do! I am destroying one instead! " Lyra smiled, pushing the swiss knife back into her purse.
"You bitch! Let me go! "
"I am! Right this moment. The media will be here any second to see your handsome body out for display. I've sent them pictures too but their eyes will be dying to see your exquisite beauty live! So good bye Mr Lee Jun! Have a great interview! " Lyra winked and closed the door. She hurriedly walked outside and called Zeke to get the car ready. He was right in time. Just as she expected, a huge commotion had already formed at the Blue Star Agency building right after she left. Even though she taught him a lesson, Lyra was still disappointed.

In the heart of the city where the Shenzen Police Headquarters was located, a group of men had arrived in suits regarding a formal discussion. It was regarding great and influential men of the times, mostly the ones who were dealing with illegal marketing and the reason behind soaring crimes within the City. Among the business groups mentioned there were the Williams, Luo's and none other than the Shengs. The Sheng family seemed to catch their eyes particularly…
"Mr. Aldric Sheng I've heard, is a share holder in many oil businesses mainly in the SouthEast Asian countries. He's a very skilled business man." The Chief Police officer of the department said as he gazed towards the projector screen. Then appeared the pictures of Lyra and Ryu Sheng.
"These are his children, Ryu Sheng his son and Lyra Sheng, his daughter. They are not well known to the media at the moment but rumors are going around that Ryu will be taking over his position as CEO soon at Sheng Corporations." The Chief sighed and continued.
"The truth is, the position as a CEO, billion dollar chains of resorts, oil mines, it's all a big facade to hide their true identity. As a Mafia Chain that maintains its connection to as far as even Russia. He has made several appointments there in the name of "business trips" but it's simply an agency to hire more assassins. We believe that Ryu Sheng very much handles most of their underworld alliances. "
"Good point. What problems do we face? " The Commissioner asked.
"The problem is the lack of evidence. They are clean at their tasks. You see, Mr. Aldric Sheng is a very calculated and shrewd man. Almost 10 years ago, his friend named Dawon Williams was the strongest in the business game. But suddenly after a night during a party in the South China Sea, his billion dollar Cruise ship sank with no clue. Most of the people were saved due to quick action, except him and a few of his security. A witness claimed that he was caught on fire but loose evidence shows that Mr, Aldric was present with him till the very last moment."
"I see… " The Commissioner sighed.
"We have issued Detective Randal Johansson from our department to do further unraveling. If the mission works out then we can gather more evidence and find the truth. " As the Chief said so, he recalled an old incident. Looking at the rest of his constables he continued. " I hope he doesn't end up like one of our men years ago. I had assigned him a similar mission but to infiltrate into Aldric Sheng's gang on a ship. We never heard of him again and couldn't even find his corpse... Rest In Peace, Toji Han. "
Inside a bar, Lyra was playing with her glass of whisky when Zeke sat beside her, trying to keep her company.
"Why are you here for? I need some me time so go away. Shoo! " She gestured him away. Zeke felt a stab at his heart! What was he, a chicken to shoo off!? This woman! One moment she's nice and the next a total meanie. He squinted his eyes and walked away towards their driver, Mingyu. He was a babbler when drunk so Zeke didn't feel lonely. It was like he was talking to himself and Zeke was listening.
"You know my boy! Back in the days I was a respected budding officer in the police force! But one day I was sent to Old Boss Aldric Sheng's Ship as part of a mission! It was Love at first sight!! They treated me better than at the academy! And the salary! Pure gold!!! After just a few days I decided a police officer was nothing compared to this! This was my passion now! So I ditched my job to be here! Look at me now! " He held his drink out and clinked glasses with Zeke who was listening to everything, mouth hanging open.

Darah felt like she was sitting on the bed too long that she felt her bum aching at this point. What worried her was that she'd feel the pain again if she stood up. Without any further thoughts to it, she placed her feet on the ground… It was so cold but it felt so soothing. The ground was shining like a glittery mix of milk and water, so reflecting that there wasn't a single blemish on it. This guy probably paid a lot to get it this clean.
She turned towards the side of the window and walked towards it. There was a tall Ginkgo tree and a lonely bird with blue feathers was sitting over a branch nearest to her. She tip toed slowly to it's side so that it wouldn't fly away. She whispered something to it and slowly went closer and closer, trying to reach her hands out.
"Darah Chen" A cold voice called out.
The bird flew away frantically and Darah pulled her hand back, forming her palms into tight fists. It was him… She hated to be anywhere near that man. Turning around, she kept her eyes on the ground not wanting to look directly into his soulless pitch black orbs.
He slowly closed the door behind him and walked closer to her, watching her head to toe. It seemed she was doing better.
"Here." He handed over her a phone.
"Call whomever you want. But if you spill a word about what is happening here, then you might not live to see another day. You're a wise lady aren't you, Darah Chen? " He was still in his business suit, probably just came home from a meeting. It was already starting to get dark outside.
He kept holding his hand out but Darah wasn't taking the phone. He looked at her carefully. A smirk formed on his face… She was still disappointed from before. But this time it was more intense with a glint of hatred in her eyes. How amusing.
"It's a limited edition offer Darah. I never make such offers for anybody else! You better choose quickly. Your family? God knows what's going through their minds right now." He shook his head, exhibiting pity for her condition. Oh god the fake sympathy! Darah wanted to punch him in the face but she wasn't going to be left alive for it. She quickly grabbed the phone and dialled the number. She had to call her sister first… Unknown to Darah, it was a habit of her's to go to a corner whenever she had to make a call. But Ryu on the other hand thought it was her excuse to escape… Was she that dumb?
"Uh yes Sery! I know I know my phone kind of isn't working so i'm calling from a friend's number."
"I knew it! It kept saying switched off!!" Serena Chen yelled from the other side.
Darah kept nodding and Ryu Sheng found it tiring how he was basically walking behind her like a slave all this time, one corner to another. All this for just a phone call? Next, she called May then Anny and then…
"Enough." He snatched the phone from her hands, glaring dead into her eyes. Darah lowered her head and sighed… She didn't know an hour had already passed by. He couldn't believe it. Even his longest phone call could've lasted a few minutes at most. This was madness!
