SKYE'S POV

I WAS OFFENDED 😡

I was so upset when I stormed out of the class after the History teacher left. Was it wrong to have been concerned about her well being? I asked myself afterwards. I suspended every activity I had planned for that day and decided to take her around school. I didn't want her to feel lost and alone, because I can relate with how neglected transfer students feel on their first day of school. I began to feel I should have paid more attention to myself and let her wallow in self pity but I decided against it when she bumped into me with her books in a bid to locate the venue. Shaking my head, I return to reality from my reverie.

"I'm just glad she realized she was wrong and apologized for it, even if it wasn't the way I was expecting the apology...what is wrong with you Skye? She has no obligation to act like she's interested in your well being, you know?" I chastise myself and return the ball to the gaming room. And then, I proceed to the locker room to get my bag before heading home. It was already 6:35pm. I finished football practice about half an hour ago but I decided to remain in school and blow off some steam. The drama with Jess, the outburst of Chloe and the attention I got after the episode got me thinking about a lot of things, which I was willing to clarify one step at a time.
