Blank

Roselia's POV

I was going to open the door when a car honked and all I can see is a girl wearing white hoodie laying on the ground, in her own pool of blood.

Wait, white hoodie?

I ran to the girl and turned her around hesitantly. The driver helped me. He is saying sorry non-stop and starts to call the ambulance.

When I can see the girl's face, all I could feel is blank. I didn't felt anything. I stare at the face that is drowned in blood. My hands starts shaking. I touched her cheeks. My daughter.

"Elysia! My child! Call the ambulance!!!" I said to the driver and my husband, Lucas and Andrew come running at me. They all gasped at the sight and at the limp body I was holding. Lucas fell on his knees. Andrew is covering his mouth, tears dripping from his cheeks. I haven't seen him crying since 6 years ago.

I shake the body that's laying in my arms. I don't care about the blood smearing all over my apron. All I want to do is wake her up.

"Elysia, darling, mother is here. Wake up.. " tears dripping down my face. I lift my face up. I saw Matt, Ryan and a girl I've never met before. They all have shocked and scared expressions on their face. Then something flicked back into my memories.

"I'm going to meet Ryan. He said it's important."

I let go carefully of my daughter's body, the ambulance is near. I walked quickly to the boys.

"You! My daughter went to met you!" I pointed my finger at him, which is covered in blood. My daughter's blood.

"I-..I'm sorry! I-I-I didn't mean it!! Sofia, what have you done?! What have we done?!" he ran his fingers through his hair.

"If my daughter didn't wake up, I swear, I... I'll never forgive you!"

Then I stormed back to the scene. The paramedics is lifting her off the ground. I ran to my house and grabbed a mask, a hand sanitizer and a pair of gloves. I ran back to the ambulance just in time one of the paramedics said,

"I need just one family member to come with us."

"I'll go! I'm her mother." I said it to him and he nodded. I sad goodbyes to my family and sat down at the back of the ambulance. My eyes starts to water again at the sight in front of me. My daughter had to use a machine to help her stay alive..

I hold her hand tightly into my hand. We arrived at the ER 20 minutes later. I had to wait in the waiting room, waiting for the surgery to be done.

4 hours later...

It have been four hours she's in there. Elysia is the strongest child of all. She's the one that protects her siblings even though she didn't let us know when was bullied in the meantime. Her studies are always impressive. She loves her siblings equally.

I sighed.

A doctor stormed in the waiting room with a couple of nurses. They stands in front of me, so I stood up.

"Mrs Silverwood?" the doctor asked me. I nodded slowly, swallowing the thick thing that's unlikely stuck in my throat. He started to walk so I just followed him

"Your daughter just lost lots of blood and we are currently are trying to searching for her blood type in the blood bank. Her chances to survive is 35-65. It's the highest we can do. We've tried. All we need to do is wait and see if she will wake up. She's a strong girl. I know she'll survive it."

He takes a deep breath and continue,

"She also experienced some concussions. Her rib cracked and the bone at her hip is slightly broken. There's a thin chance for her to make it. Her jaw is a little cracked. But I got a feeling she was crying a little before that. Do you know what happened?"

I shook my head.

"She said she was going to meet her boyfriend. That's all."

The doctor nodded.

"I see, young love, yes? Maybe they just broke up. I cannot assure you everything will be fine but you can go home and we can inform you whenever she wakes up. She's in a deep coma right now. We should let her rest."

I just want to crumble right there, right now. My daughter is in a deep coma. The person that I have been taken care of for sixteen years since she was born. The person that always takes the chance to lick the mixer whenever I mixed cookie dough. The person that always been there when I was sad.

The only person that tempted to get a job when her parents is lack of money when she was twelve.

But she would love it if you keep on being strong.

The voice at the back of my head starts to speak.

I take a deep breath, ready for the chances of losing my daughter. My beloved daughter.

"I'd like to call my husband to pick me up. Thank you so much doctor for treating my daughter."

I shook his hand and the nurses hands.

"It's the least we can do. Don't lose hope, okay? It's gonna be alright."

I just smiled weakly and make my way to the lobby of the hospital. I called my husband to take me. I looked back at the picture that I took of my daughter in the surgery room before I left.

I showed it to my husband, Lucas and Andrew. In the picture, Elysia's body is covered with stitches, wires, bandages and bruises. She is breathing from a tube in her throat.

Andrew have been crying non-stop and Lucas is just the same. While my husband starts to drink some wine. I can see his tired facial expression. His eyes is puffy and his nose is red.
