Numbers was an underground organization that operated under a strict hierarchy, where its most elite members were ranked according to their strength and contribution to the organization.

In the entire organization, there were only a hundred numbered elites, and at the pinnacle of the organization and the leader of the ones known as the Single Digits, was Number 1.

Widely known as One, his real name was Rentt Greenwood.

He was born on the human continent exactly 833 years ago, the product of a union between a human saint and a demon noble captured during the Great War between the Human and Demon continents, a thousand years ago.

Even so, he was born human, with no demonic traits whatsoever. Since female demons above a certain level could choose whether to conceive or not, it had taken everything the church had to force a demon noble to accept the seed of a saint, even when it was toxic to demons.
