C469. Liz's Daily Life

The Next Day...

When Liz woke up, the warmth of Erin's arms enveloped her like a protective cocoon. It had only been a few hours of restless sleep, but even that short respite felt like a rare treasure.

Turning to her friend, she whispered a soft "Thank you," her voice laced with genuine gratitude. This was not something she had wanted to trouble anyone with, but Erin did not hesitate to help.

Erin, ever the mysterious entity she was, offered a sleepy smile and drifted away, her form vanishing in a shimmering wisp. Her ability to move around like some sort of ghost even made Liz jealous at time.

The habit of always retreating to his room for comfort had been deeply ingrained in her over these past few months.
