Mashed Carrot Potato

"Here's your food mam," said the waiter as he serves half of their food first that accompany another waiter with another half of their food.

"Here's the big boy's food," said the cute waiter as he put Marius food's in front of him.

"Thank you" reply Stella as she picks her spoon up and tastes the porridge in which make her call the waiter straight away.

"This food is for an 8-month-old child, not a teenagers nor an adult who doesn't have any teeth," said Stella as she looks dead in the waiter's eye who blinked his eyes nervously.

"What she's saying is that this porridge isn't supposed to be seasoning, it was supposed to be insipid or tasteless" explain Skylar nicely in which make Stella nod her head and try to be calm.

"So sorry mam, I'll tell the head chef immediately," said the waiter as he quickly heads over to the kitchen area.

"Here's your freshly made porridge," said the cute waiter as he places the food down slowly and gently.

"Thank you," said Stella as she takes a small bite of the food before she nods her head.

"This is correct and perfect. Say thank you to your chef and that boy the one wearing round glasses" said Stella as she points to the boy who was standing at the side of the cashier.

"Okay, mam I will tell them. Enjoy your food" said the cute waiter politely before he walk away from them.

"So what are you going to do tomorrow?" asked Skylar out of the blue.

"I don't know yet but after food, I want to go hunt down some Cannoli and Sbrisolona for desert. I read in the magazine this morning that these two desserts are the best so I want to have them" said Stella as she takes her first bite then straight away feeding Marius his food.

"Oh man, I want it too. I heard it from Lucian about it and I'm dying to taste it" said Skylar as she takes her first bite.

"Can we join you ladies?" asked someone who stands behind Stella which make her turn around to look at that person and Skylar to look up while Marius busy wanting to spill his food.

"No," said Stella as she looks at that person and his entourage.

"That's not nice to say that for someone who's my flesh and blood," said the man as he takes his seat beside Stella who rolls her eyes.

"If you are alone then okay but not when your sidekick is with you," said Stella nonchalantly with a little sass before she turns and gives Marius his food.

"Don't hate them, sissy, my sidekick is a good person," said Gabriel which earns him a sarcastic snort from Stella.

"They are not a good person Gab," said Stella as she looks at his brother dead in his eyes.

"You try to do something I don't like I swear to you I will walk away immediately leaving your ass behind" add Stella before she turns her attention back to Marius who giggle happily as he looked at Luciano.

"Baby here, look at mummy. Your food is here baby, don't look at that devil" said Stella while trying to give Marius his food and ignore Luciano who seat at the next table while looking at them.

"Ha-ha, pppappa, ppprpaa, pa-pa," said Marius happily as he saw Luciano and hold his arms out wanting him to be near him while kicking his leg lightly.

"Baby that's not your papa, he's someone who you need to ignore. Come here, look at mama" said Stella as she pushes the chair in her direction.

That action makes Luciano feel sad and angry towards himself as he bestows this upon himself but as always Stella ignore him and play with Marius while giving him his food in which Marius don't want.

Marius keeps on pushing the food away, close his mouth and scream while trying to look at Luciano's area. This makes Stella feel tired as she takes a deep breath and exhales it before she rubs her eyes together and try to distract her baby again but failed.

Luciano who was seating and looking directly at them couldn't take it any more so he walks over to their table and seat next to Marius who babble happily at him.

"Can I?" asked Luciano as he pointed at Marius food.

Stella raises her left eyebrow before her eyebrow slightly pulled down together and her lips becoming thinner then release it to its original state as she hands over the food to Luciano.

"Look baby look, here's come an aeroplane," said Luciano as he made an aeroplane sound and movement in which doesn't match his style.

Stella then looks away trying to calm herself as she closes her eyes tightly before her lips form a small smile while she takes a bite of her food.

"Dude you look stupid," said Gabriel as Lucian and Skylar burst out laughing which makes Marius join them.

As soon as Marius join them laughing, he accidentally knocks the plate off from Luciano's hands and drops it onto his shirt which makes them both cover in mashed carrot potato. As soon as Stella saw this she joined them laughing at them both.

"Ha. Ha. very funny" said Luciano slightly smiles at Stella who laughs at them before trying to clean her son who was playing with his food.

"Come here baby, let mummy clean you," said Stella as she wanted to stand up but halted by Luciano who offer to clean him as he needs to clean himself.

"No, no need," said Stella as she looks at Marius then at Luciano back and forth.

"Let me do it while you eat and you can order another food for Marius," said Luciano in a soft voice.

"Still no" reply Stella stubbornly.

"Hey, hey. Sissy I'll go with him okay, we can take care of this small king" said Gabriel as he stands up and Luciano quickly pick Marius up before they head over to the toilet area.

"But-" said Stella but halted by Skylar.

"Lia, let them. Your brother is with him isn't it?" asked Skylar as she looks at Stella.

"But still, I mean," said Stella lost of words.

"You what Lia? Why don't you put some trust in your brother okay? If you still don't feel like it then Lucian can go and accompany them" said Skylar as she pushes Lucian slightly who automatically get what she meant and walk over to the toilet area.

"See, now the boys are gone let's eat up and get the dessert that we both need," said, Skylar, as she winked at her best friend who nods her head.

"Waiter," said Stella.

"Yes mam," said the waiter politely.

"Can you please ask the chef to make another mashed carrot potato for an 8-month-old baby and it must be bland," said Stella.

"Okay mam, right away," said the waiter who quickly walk over to the kitchen area.

"That was fucking funny," said Skylar as Marius isn't there to hear her curse.

"Hahaha, indeed it is" agreeing Stella as she giggles thinking back to what had happened.

"Marius is so cute," said Skylar as she takes a bite of her food.

"Indeed he is, and funny too," said Stella as she takes another bite of her food.

Both best friends enjoy their meal before Stella realise that the boys are in the toilet for quite some time.

"Where are they?" asked Stella as she looks at her phone.

"Lucian just texts me this," said Skylar as she hands over the phone to Stella.

"Oh my gosh seriously the four of them can't be together without us or this might happen," said Stella as she hands over the phone back to Skylar.

Both ladies then continue talking and laughing like they used to do for a few minutes before they both got interrupted by someone.

"Here's your mashed carrot potato mam," said a cold yet velvet tone voice which makes both ladies look up at him.

"Thanks," said Stella as she smiles at the man wearing a chef's attire.

"Sorry for being out here and serve you personally as I was intrigued wanting to know who ordered such an odd food that specifically for an 8-month-old but there's no baby around," said the chef sound flirtatious as he smiles at Stella who just raises her eyebrows.

"That's because the baby is with his father," said Luciano in a cold tone which makes Stella unconsciously shiver a little at his voice.

"Oh so-so-sorry Don, my bad. I'm so sorry, have a nice evening Don, Donna" said the chef stutter a little before he head over to the kitchen leaving them behind while Stella continues to eat her food as if nothing happens.

Marius then places softly on his high chair before Luciano seat next to him and begin to help Stella to give Marius his food in silent as if it's his daily routine which makes everyone to look at them while raising their eyebrows and folded their arms.
