Skylar's flashback to the Trial of the Plaintiff (Skylar Cooper) vs Defendant (Tim Copley)
-INSIDE THE COURTROOM-
Bailiff: All rise. Department One of the Superior Court is now in session. Judge Sharon William presiding. Please be seated.
Judge Sharon William: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Calling the case of Miss Skylar Cooper versus Mr Tim Copley. Are both sides ready?
Private Plaintiff Attorney: Ready for the plaintiff, Your Honour.
Private Defender Attorney: Ready for the defence, Your Honour
Judge Sharon William: Will the clerk please swear in the jury?
Clerk: Will the jury please stand and raise your right hand?. Do each of you swear that you will fairly try the case before this court and that you will return a true verdict according to the evidence and the instructions of the court, so help you, God?. Please say "I do". You may be seated.
Deputy DA: Your Honour and ladies and gentlemen of the jury: the defendant has been charged with the crime of sexually assaulting without consent, physically and mentally abused the plaintiff. The evidence shows a picture that was taken a few days after the abused by the plaintiff best friend who is present here with us. Then in this secretly recorded voice, the defendant was beating and cursing at the plaintiff and her best friend. The evidence I present will prove to you that the defendant is guilty as charged.
Private Defender: Your Honour and ladies and gentlemen of the jury: under the law, my client is presumed innocent until proven guilty. During this trial, you will hear that the evidence that they have gathered isn't real evidence and it's against my client. You will come to know the truth that Tim Copley was just playing around and roughhousing like a normal teenager with his friends who happen to be Skylar Cooper and her best friend and some other friends there too. Therefore my client is not guilty.
Judge Sharon: The prosecution may call its first witness.
Deputy DA: The People call the best friend of the plaintiff.

Deputy DA: Stella, where do you study?
Witness 1: The same school as my best friend The Public MPhil School, New York.
Deputy DA: Where were you at that time when Skylar was about to get rapped?
Witness 1: I was helping my home class teacher with the books and I saw Tim Copley dragged Skylar down the empty hall into the janitor's room.
Deputy DA: What did you do next?
Witness 1: I did what I know which is to alert my teacher and run towards the janitor's room.
Deputy DA: So you and your teacher rescue Skylar from Tim's assault.
Witness 1: Yes Sir.
Deputy DA: Thank you, I have no further questions.
Judge Sharon William: Does the defence have any questions?
Private Defender Attorney: Not at this time, Your Honour.

Deputy DA: Officer, where do you work?
Officer: I have worked for the New York Police Department for the past ten years.
Deputy DA: Were you on duty on the afternoon of April 9th?
Officer: Yes. My partner and I was patrolling around between MPhil Road and
McGill Road when we got the alert which we respond straight away.
Deputy DA: When you get to the scene what did you do?
Officer: We straight away went towards the school building and saw two girl crying hugging each other as the teacher hug them both while her phone is still connected to the 911 number while the janitor who is in probably his fifties trying his best to keep the door shut.
Deputy DA: Continue, please.
Officer: I read his rights while arresting him as you can see in the body cam that we often use.
Judge Sharon William: Play the video, please.
Clerk: [play the video that was provided by the Police Department].
Deputy DA: Your Honour, I would like to have the video marked as exhibit number three and ask that they be admitted into evidence.
Judge Sharon William: The video will be admitted as exhibit number three. Does the defence have any objection?
Private Defender Attorney: No, Your Honour.
Deputy DA: I have no further questions.
Judge Sharon William: The witness is excused. Does the prosecution have any other witnesses?
Deputy DA: Yes, Your Honour. The People call the doctor who does a medical report unto Skylar Cooper.

Deputy DA: Doctor, where do you work?
Doctor: NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. I have been a qualified trauma doctor for a sexually abused case for 12 years.
Deputy DA: Can you explain more on the medical status of Skylar Cooper's state.
Doctor: She was brought to us by the officers and the teacher who rushed in, we examine her fully together with her best friend as they both won't let us separate. We do a normal rape kit (also known as a sexual assault kit (SAK) to the both of them in which didn't find any semen. If you can see in the picture that was attached with the reports that Skylar sustains a few broken ribs and bruises both old and new that cover 30 per cent of her body and Stella sustain a minor bruise from the struggling to getaway.

Private Defender Attorney: No, Your Honour.

Defendant: What stupid question is that obviously, I was at school The Public MPhil School, New York.
Private Defender Attorney: What are you doing there?
Defendant: Obviously went there to study. Seriously what type of question is this? My dad pays for you not to talk nonsense but help me you dumbass.
Judge Sharon William: Mr Tim you need to respect people in the room.
Defendant: Whatever.
Judge Sharon William: Talkback another time and act disrespectful inside the court, I will personally add another offence in your record so I suggest you be polite. Continue.
Private Defender Attorney: Why did you do that towards Skylar? Is it a prank?
Defendant: That's because she's a loner and forever will be even with her new best friend Stella. They both deserve it and worst. She's stupid, ugly, filthy and an orphanage. Even you look at her now you feel like beat the shit out of her.
Judge Sharon William: Okay, that's enough. You'll have another one on the list. Do you have any further question?
Private Defender Attorney: Thank you, your honour. I have no further questions.
Judge Sharon William: The witness is excused.
Judge Sharon William: Will the jury foreperson please stand? Has the jury reached a unanimous verdict?
Foreperson: Yes.
Clerk: The jury finds the defendant guilty.
Judge Sharon William: The jury is thanked and excused with a unanimous verdict the defendant is found guilty and he's sentenced to 15 years imprisonment without parole. Any last request Mr Tim?
Defendant: You are nothing but a bitch! Fucking ass hole! Fuck you!
Judge Sharon William: Bring him back here. I'm going to add another year to that since you disrespect the court and everyone who's in the room.
