Chapter 6

"Just let me die." I grated my teeth just wanting the pain to go away. It is too much for me to feel the pain right now I just want to be over and done with. Please I just want to feel nothing again, just to be in a nice clean room and relaxing away.

If only I could do that but the pain keeps coming at me in drove and somehow it is keeping me awake thought out the procedure.

"Stay with me now." I hear someone speaking out. "I forbite you to ask for death."

"Brother am sorry, if it was not for me you would have been okay, you could have evaded the bird by yourself."

I bite my mouth shutting my eyes wanting to tell May to stop crying and to be strong. But all I could muster out was a groan that came out of me from the bleeding I could feel coming out. I shook my head trying to respond to May.

"Not! N..Not Your Fault." I whisper out and place my arms around May's shoulder.

"Brother are you okay. Are you in a lot of pain?" I hear the crying voice of June going around my head over and over again.

"Girls leave, for now, we need to work on him."

"But."

"I said LEAVE. You girls should not be here and see this kind of thing."

"O...okay please take care of him."

"Don't worry we will do everything we can. I am not about to let our brother die easily, so trust in me and my team."

Everything began to get more and more blurry as tears drip out of my eyes. I grab on to the hands of anyone near me and not know what it is that I wish to convey all I could do was grab whole and never let go, whole on to the lifeline hold on to the only hope that I could feel and that is the warmth of a hand so to feel that I am still alive somehow or someway.

"Brother, it okay we are not going to let you die." I hear my big brother's voice whisper softly into my ears.

"Promise."

"Of course, when would I break my promise to my little brother and sister."

"It's hurts"

"Brother, it hurts"

"Just bear with it. just keep on holding on to me and keep your eyes open for me." I see him turn to look at his teammate and ask. "How much longer will it take."

"It a big tear in the wound, I am moving as quickly as I can right now."

"We'll be quicker."

"Yes, boss. I stop the bleeding now it only the sawing left to do."

Oh my god, I am going to die from blood loss. There is no way that I could have thought that I would pass through this difficult time without any injury.

"Boss gets the alcohol, let your brother drink it. We don't have any pain killers so that is the only way to go."

"So, what get him drunk."

"Get him drunk or let him feel much more pain than before."

"Got it, little bro opens your mouth and drink this." I did as he commanded but the thing that touches my throat almost made me want to throw up. It is so strong my head began to spin and everything was so much lighter and somehow, I could feel less pain from my shoulder. I feel like I could do anything in the world even flying I really believe that I could do it.

How strong is this drink it didn't take even 30 seconds that I began to feel like am invincible nothing can harm me at all. The thing would be interesting if it really happen that way and I am really invincible but all of that is in my head.

"Bro..brother" I slur out the word not knowing what I wanted to say but somehow it just come out.

"What is it?"

"If I die please cut my head off and burn me, I don't want to b..become to a Spiritwalker."

"What a Spiritwalker?" He asks in confusion.

"It the Zombie outside. Promise me please."

"Don't worry you're not going to die so rest assure I will not let you die."

"But if I do."

"Speak of no such thing, you are not going to die if you do I will follow you and kill the grim reaper to bring you back."

I could not help but smile at the craziness my brother just come up with, what killing the grim reaper once you die it death itself.

"Tell the girls I love them a lot."

"Just shut it, there no way I am allowing you to die so easily."

You think this is easy I don't want to die either but what other choices do I have when I lost so much blood and feeling so much pain, only now after the drink that I feel a bit clear-minded so better say goodbye now rather than later.

"Be strong, my team is doing everything they can to safe you."

I nodded not wanting to argue with him anymore, I held on to his big arms and feel the drowsiness coming over. I want to sleep now and I just could not keep my eyes open any longer.

Am I dead, it feels kind of painful to be dead I thought there will be no pain but somehow there is pain all over my body? I could not help but groan out loud from the stabbing pain all over my back.

"Brother you're up." I hear the voice but I could not turn to look at who is speaking.

"Big bro, brother is up."

I could feel a shake at the corner of my eyes and somehow only realizing that my finger was intertwining and holding on to something and that something feels like someone else hand.

"Yo, little brother finally decided to wake up I see."

My mouth feels so dry I swallow and wanting to say something back but no sound came out of me. I wanted to turn and looked at whom is talking to me seeing as my hearing is kind of gone.

"Don't move, you're wound is still not heal properly yet so stay still." As I looked with my eyes open I see a very manly face that would drive any woman wild looking at me his eyes filled with love and gentleness.

"Big brother, why are you so handsome." The word just came out before I could even stop myself.

"Well little bro thanks for the compliment, you must be feeling so much better to just causally commenting on my beauty." My handsome brother smile which made his handsome go up another level of a film star that jump straight out of a magazine. Any girl would die from that smile including me whom heart is as hard as stone after living a hard life for 15 years in the apocalyptic world, but still, my heart wanted to melt from that smile alone.

"Little brother you been out for days now, we need you to start eating and gain your strength back and for sure your weight." He gently lifted me up trying not to touch any of my wounds and pace me on the wheelchair.

Well, great I am back on this wheelchair again though I have gotten rid of it but nope back to my old injured self again. I felt so dejected that I want to start crying from the pain and the sadness of returning into an unless person.

"Come now let eat." Aunty Liliy called out to all of us.

I looked around and there were more people than I could imagine somehow the hug table doesn't look that huge anymore with everyone seating and eating. It as if the table was made to accompany this many people.

"Brother, who are they?" I could not help myself and ask.

"They are my team."

"Yo, boss you should introduce us to your brave little brother." One of the black tall handsome men spoke out and wink. "The name is Steven."

"I'm, Adrien" a very gentlemanly man spoke out as if he is the butler that has been trained to perfection and there are no cruses to his behaviour.

"The name Sofie," the cute short girl jump up and smile she looked so delectated that one would want to protect her. She grabs the guy next to her whose face is as cute as her and spoke out chipping "This is Stone, my twin brother." Stone looked up at me and nodded and when back to his meal.

"He doesn't like talking much." Sofie keeps on speaking.

"Okay, now Sofie calm down there are still the three of us to be introduced next you can't keep the limelight to yourself just because you're cute and all."

"Shut up, Anna I am just trying to cheer everyone up."

"Hey little brother I am Anna, I love the way you fight just like a movie star and so manly." Anna winks at me with her sexy eyes and gives me a kiss on the cheek with her plum lips. I think if I were not injure she would have done more than that.

"Okay, now Anna; my turn. Hey, cutie am Bennison, you are so cute like a girl I can eat you up." The big muscle guy spoke out with a scare run down his face grinning like a Cheshire cat making him looked manly and handsome. But to me right now I feel like he really wants to eat me up that my danger signal is raising by the second.

"Hey now stop scaring the young man; he is injured enough already he doesn't need you to screw with his mind as well." The tall white and handsome man stood up and pull on to Bennison making sure he was not moving any closer to me. "The name is Kane I am the leader of this bunch of riff-raff. And we work for the boss."

I looked toward my elder brother who is calmy scooping food out for me and there were so many questions that I wanted to ask him. He understood the way I looked at him and he signals me to eat.

"You have a question for me I also have a question for you. But right now you need to nourish yourself."

"Yeah, we have so many questions for you, like how did you even know all of this that was going to happen." Sofie chirp in.

"Yes, thank to your informant to the boss we manage to escape with everyone." Bennison points his spoon at me and wink. Creepy I try to not shiver.
