Hopefully there's a heaven

-John and Cleir, let's eat... -shouted their mother from a cabin that was more or less precarious.

A young man with dark hair, gray eyes and white skin was training with his sister who had lighter and longer hair, light eyes and white skin too.

-You became very strong eh John," says his sister as she stops the blow of John's sword in her right hand.

-I said I'd beat you, sister! -he replied as he circled his busy right hand and tried to hit her on the right side of the neck.

In which Cleir ducks, thus avoiding John's punch, then hits him in the stomach with her unoccupied left fist, and finally a spinning kick directly into the brother's face.

-At this rate you can never beat me John. -said his sister with a slight hint of mockery.

-What happens is that you are too strong, you've been in the capital's army for more than 20 years, but I've only been training for about 5 years. -He says as he rises from the place where he had fallen.

-At your age you should realize that this is not an obstacle to overcome me, haven't you realized that in only 5 years you are almost reaching me? -When Cleir finishes these words, she feels proud of having achieved so much in such a short time and a certain arrogant air is in her eyes.

Realizing that it had been a long time since their mother had called them, she says:

- Let's eat!

Just when they were about to enter the house, an explosion occurred at the entrance of the village where some gentlemen were taking care of the village and in some cases were collecting taxes from the villagers.

John goes to town running as fast as his legs can, Cleir ran much faster than his brother, but decided to slow down to keep up with him so they could get there together. They stop a few meters from the explosion and when they look they see hundreds of knights and catapults in the distance with blue badges, drawings of a wolf and some letters (in the language of the continent) that said "The North Conquers", thus implying that the knights were from the north.

The little brother, curious and intrigued, tries to get closer to see better what was happening and to know what caused the explosion, but as he moves, Cleir holds him and shakes his head refusing to let him get any closer to the place. As John looks closely, he sees the general of the enemies, but without realizing who he really was.

-Cleir... -are the words that came out of John as he felt the fear running through his shaky body from head to toe.

She was frightened to see such an army in front of a simple village, but what she wondered most was why the northern army was so far away from her kingdom, and what she knew, and had confirmed at that moment, was that the northern kingdom really existed and was not just a myth created by nomadic sellers to get their trinkets sold.

Just as the soldiers begin to advance Cleir shouts at John:

Run and don't you dare look back!

John starts running without thinking twice, much slower because of the fear, but when he was near his house and a little far from the village, he looks behind him and does not find Cleir, then he decides to go back to bring her, because he thought she was lost.

Upon arriving at the site, he sees his sister trying to hide some people in the church basement while the northern army is coming to her doing all sorts of atrocities to the citizens left behind without even a chance to hide.

(40 km away, inside enemy lines).

The captain of the Javelin launcher squadron.

- Bring me the best pitcher in our unit!

In what approaches a young and bald man, with armor very adjusted to his body thanks to the muscles that stand out all over his body.

-Joo! -So it's you, Peters? -The squadron captain says those words while a malicious smile is on his face.

-That's right, Captain! Allow this humble gentleman to serve you in this mission," says the very confident man.

-All right... You will have the opportunity to end the life of the "Moon Sword" of the kingdom of Kateran!

The squadron captain closes his eyes for a few seconds, then opens them and says

Vissions...

Then, with your thumb and index finger you create a circle the size of your eyes to be able to look at things far away as if they were binoculars.

-With my current energy I can only see as far as 50 km from mine, but that will be more than enough this time.

Then the captain, with a pleasant smile says:

-The target is at your 9, throw exactly that javelin to 120 km/h. We'll see if the "Moon Sword" is able to stop this. - (With a pleasant smile).

The gentleman accepts and prepares to throw the javelin. He grabs the weapon, strips off his armor and prepares to throw.

All of man's muscles are marked on his body more than they ever were before. Such is the pressure of his muscles that even the ground on which he stood ends up being broken.

He throws it exactly as the captain wanted (to 120 km/h) so fast was the spear that it is possible to see how it broke the wind in its path...

(40 km away, where John and his sister are).

When John sees this, he gets desperate and can't move his legs because of the fright he felt when he saw everything that was happening. After a few seconds, he manages to move again and tries to go to help his sister.

When she saw that her brother had not yet left, she tried to say a few words to him when suddenly...

CLEEEEIR!!!

A Javelin that is thrown from a faraway place, Cleir realizes that a Javelin thrown from a faraway place comes with tremendous speed and tries to stop it with all his strength clinging to the handle of his sword, but it is useless because the sword ends up breaking and the Javelin is stuck right in his chest.

She, nailed to a tree and losing too much blood, with her last words says

- Run away! -while red tears fall from his eyes making John understand that he should run if he values his life.

He doesn't think twice before listening to his sister and while a tickle makes him feel something unpleasant, he runs with a broken spirit listening to her.

-Nonononono, this can't be happening! -he thinks as he runs to the cabin where he lives with his mother and sister.

- Cleir cannot die here, she is very strong, isn't she? -He was trying to convince himself that what he saw was not true.

When he arrives, he sees how there is a lot of blood and voices of some men inside the house, he looks at the door and it was open, when he enters he sees his mother naked and bloody with three gentlemen from the north around her stabbing her at the same time.

When he saw what was happening, and without thinking twice, he threw himself at the three soldiers who had very well made iron swords, while he only had a dagger and a wooden sword that he used in training.

He tries to hit a knight with a cut from his dagger to his neck, but he misses and gets kicked and thrown against the wall. But that wasn't enough to stop a son who was trying to get his mother back.

He throws himself again and gets caught and tied to a chair.

- Is this your mother, child? -asks the gentleman.

-Well... I guess it is. -says another soldier without letting the son speak.

-For your bad luck you will have to see how we broke your dying mother to death," says the third soldier who was at the site.

Amidst laughter, the soldiers began to do what they had said. When they finish, they are going to untie the child to kill him at once, when they look into his eyes and one of them says

-I know those eyes, they belong to someone who has lost the will to live. We'd better leave him alive.

-He is already traumatized after all, but it will be worse for him to stay alive," replies the gentleman with a mocking tone as he spits in his face and they begin to slowly withdraw.

When suddenly one of the soldiers falls to the ground...

His surprised partner looks at him and sees how he has a clean cut in his throat, is even more surprised and tries to talk to his other partner. As he turns to look at him, his other partner is also in the same way.

He looks back at his first injured teammate and sees John standing with the dagger he used in training with his sister.

He pounces on the knight trying to strike with his wooden sword, in which the knight easily stops John's blow with his sword in his right hand.

While smiling, he surrounded the knight's busy right hand with great speed and managed to inlay his dagger in his neck, thus ending his life.

Dying John tries to go see his mother when suddenly... one... two... three arrows are stuck in his back.

Just as he falls, he thinks of his mother and his beloved sister. With eyes that waste disappointment of himself, he says:

"Hopefully there's a heaven"
