The Hunters And The Pirates

The rhythmic thump of two soldiers' running boots echoed urgently down the hall, heading straight for Lim Peizhi's room. They zigzagged through the corridors and around corners, a flurry of motion, until they burst through his door with a loud, jarring squeak.

Lim Peizhi was jolted awake by the urgent voices of the two officers who had already entered his bedroom. He quickly got up and sat at the edge of his bed, watching the two officers urgently approach him, their faces pale.

"General, pirates are attacking the city!" one of the officers gasped, out of breath.

"Tell everyone to be prepared!" Lim Peizhi commanded, his mind racing.

"General, out of the two hundred hunters, there are only fifty hunters left!" the other officer reported, his voice filled with despair.

Lim Peizhi's body sagged, a wave of despair washing over him. How could his fifty remaining hunters, forty archers, and one hundred law officers defend the city against an army of thousands of citizens?

"How many enemy soldiers?" Lim Peizhi asked, his voice strained.

"General, about ten thousand!" one officer cried. "General, what are we going to do?"

Lim Peizhi frowned, his jaw clenched. "We are sitting ducks. They surrounded us by land and sea. Call everyone to defend the city!"

He ran toward the room where the Guozhao Hunters were supposed to be staying. He forced himself into the room, hoping for their help.

"Baiyu! Renshu! The enemy is attacking!" Lim Peizhi shouted, bursting through the door.

The person who came out from behind the curtain was not Guo Baiyu or Zhao Renshu. It was a tall and handsome tan young man with a silky black braid on his left forehead and a layer of bangs on his right. His sword was identical to Fang Yaoting's. He wore black clothes from head to toe. He stared at Lim Peizhi with faint hazel eyes, his expression cold and challenging.

"Who are you?" Lim Peizhi demanded, instantly drawing his sword, wary of an intruder.

"Who the hell are you?" Guozhao Zhiqiang retorted, his own hand instinctively going to his sword.

Lim Peizhi swung his sword at Guozhao Zhiqiang. The two exchanged blows, their blades clashing sharply.

From behind, Huang Yueliang, having heard the commotion, sent guzheng sound waves towards Guozhao Zhiqiang.

Guozhao Zhiqiang then flipped backward twice, landing lightly on the bed, and sent a talisman directly at Huang Yueliang.

Huang Hongse blocked it with her sword's strike. Then, she attacked Guozhao Zhiqiang, joining Lim Peizhi, realizing he was a formidable opponent.

Lim Peizhi noticed that the young man's swordsmanship was that of Fang Yaoting's. His talisman attacks were like Zhao Renshu's. A sudden realization dawned on him.

"Stop!" Lim Peizhi shouted, waving his hand, halting the attack. "Where is Baiyu, Renshu, and Ping'an?"

"I don't know," Guozhao Zhiqiang said coldly. "I just got here."

"Do you know someone by Fang Yaoting?" Huang Yueliang asked, connecting the dots.

Guozhao Zhiqiang nodded once.

"What is your name, young man?" Huang Yueliang asked, her gaze scrutinizing him.

"Guozhao Zhiqiang," he replied.

The Huang sisters and Lim Peizhi looked at each other, recognition dawning. Lim Peizhi and Huang Hongse sheathed their swords.

"There is no need to fight," Lim Peizhi said, a relieved smile spreading across his face. "You must be their first disciple."

Guozhao Zhiqiang nodded, and he sheathed his sword back into his scabbard on his back.

"You said you just got here. The city gate is closed. How did you get in?" Lim Peizhi asked, curious.

"Teleport talisman," Guozhao Zhiqiang replied simply.

"Let's go check the city gate," Lim Peizhi commanded, urgency returning to his voice.

The group of two hundred citizens combatants, the fifty remaining hunters, forty archers, and law officers gathered at the gate of the city. Small boulders the size of a human head flew from all different directions, launched by catapults, aiming at the city wall with devastating force.

"General, at this rate, the wall will not last!" one of the soldiers shouted, fear in his voice.

Huang Hongse, without hesitation, threw her two flags in the air. Huang Hongse folded her hands together and chanted, her voice resonating with power. Her two flags multiplied into thousands of small flags, creating a shimmering force field that blocked the incoming boulders, deflecting them harmlessly.

"This won't last long!" Huang Hongse cried, straining. "Where are Baiyu and Renshu?"

"I don't know!" Lim Peizhi replied, equally frustrated.

"Those loser hunters!" Huang Hongse said angrily, glaring towards the sea. "Don't let me see them! If I do, I will kill them!"

"Peizhi!" Huang Yueliang shouted, rushing up the stairs towards Lim Peizhi and Huang Hongse. "Yuehai, Longtong, and the family members are in a safe hiding place!"

"Young man, do you know where your masters are?" Lim Peizhi asked Guozhao Zhiqiang, desperate for information.

"Shan gave me a letter and a talisman," Guozhao Zhiqiang explained. "The content of the letter was to ensure that I got here early in the morning. I arrived just when you walked in."

Meanwhile, in the pirate camp, Qingyu stood beside Xu Baohai, looking at the city walls. "My love, you will have to destroy that wall," she purred.

"How?" Xu Baohai asked, intrigued.

Qingyu giggled sexily, her eyes gleaming. "You just killed ten hunters. Drain their blood. Dip the arrowhead in the blood and aim at those flags. This will destroy it!"

The pirates immediately dragged ten fresh corpses out of the tent and began to mutilate them. They started to soak their arrowheads with the blood of the dead hunters and fired them at the flags. When the blood-soaked arrow hit its target, the flags slowly began to disappear, the force field weakening.

Xu Baohai smiled, a dark pleasure on his face. "You are not only good in bed, but also good in all aspects, my love." He kissed Qingyu's hand. "After we take over Ocean City, I will announce to the world that you are my queen."

Qingyu giggled, her voice seductive. "Let's kill them first." She slowly slipped her right hand into Xu Baohai's trousers, and slowly stroked his member up and down, further enticing him. "My love, because they deceived you, we should kill everyone in the city."

Xu Baohai turned around and kissed Qingyu's lips softly. "Whatever you want, my queen."

From the city wall, the team witnessed hundreds of arrows, their tips glinting darkly, aiming at Huang Hongse's flags. When the blood-tipped arrows hit her flags, the force field wall, a shimmering barrier, slowly shattered and disappeared.

Huang Yueliang immediately emitted powerful sound waves from her guzheng, destroying many incoming arrows, but many others still fell on houses and people, causing chaos. The fifty hunters quickly sent out fifty talismans up in the air. Fifty white circles appeared in the sky, blocking some arrows, but many arrows still fell on houses and people, and the dead of citizens continue to accumulate.

"My force field will be destroyed soon!" Huang Hongse said anxiously, her face strained with effort. "We must come up with another plan!"

Lim Peizhi turned to Guozhao Zhiqiang, a desperate hope in his eyes. "Have your master taught you how to release the black beast?"

Guozhao Zhiqiang nodded, understanding. He took out a talisman and threw it on the ground. A magic circle appeared around him, pulsating with dark energy. He put his hands together, then closed his eyes, focusing.

He chanted, his voice low and resonant, "Old spirits of the deceased, I command you to show yourself before me, lend me your strength, I will offer you blood of the living pirates over this wall!"

What emerged from the magic circle was a huge black bear, its eyes glowing with ancient fury, its massive form radiating power. The officers and the rest of the hunters swallowed their saliva vigorously when they saw the angry black beast, trembling in its presence.

The Huang Sisters, Lim Peizhi, and the archers, who had witnessed this back in Peace Town, were not afraid, knowing its purpose.

The black bear beast looked at Guozhao Zhiqiang, its massive head tilting, asking for permission to kill.

Guozhao Zhiqiang nodded, and the black bear beast roared loudly at the pirates, a terrifying sound that echoed across the water.

At the same time, another loud roar came from the right side, a response from an unseen force. When the black bear beast jumped off the city wall, rushing towards the pirates, another beast could be seen rushing from the right, and both beasts rushed towards the pirates on the shore, unleashing chaos.
