246. Chaos in Paradise part 11

A year ago, after the battle against the bandits that turned into a mass eradication of both knights and bandits, Alfein, on his way to report back what happened, found himself in confinement. His hands were tied with chains and being kept restricted in a dark cell. Outside the iron bars stood a man, so brash and arrogant in his tone, mocking Alfein.

"Alfein, Alfein, Alfein... I've seen what you did back there."

"Who are you?!" Alfein struggled, pulling on the chains. "Why am I in shackles?! Where am I?!"

"Hah..." sighed the man, slowly walking back and forth. "You don't have to know anything right now, Alfein. For now, you should listen to what I have to say, or you might regret it later on."

"Let go of me!"
