248. Chaos in Paradise part 13

Fritz's calmness wavered when he witnessed his body deteriorate as Cronus kept using his Desperate Call. There was a blizzard of magic particles in the now flowing air, twisting around the barrier. The kid clutched on his head, tweaking on his hair, bothered by the fact that his body is worsening as seconds passed by.

"Cronus! You're going overboard! How much time until activation?!"

[59 seconds left... 58 sec– second— second]

The system made static noises, reverberating inside Fritz's head.

"Oi, oi, oi, what's wrong now?"

The kid got no answer from the system. Clock is ticking. Fifty-eight seconds felt like an eternity to Fritz, impatiently waiting for the Unique Skill to automatically activate itself and finally take control in his own body again.

"Why aren't you saying anything?"

Even the live events in the paradise valley was cut off.
