Selene was totally caught off guard by Ukobach, shattering the woman's right-wing with his underhanded scheme. The man rendered her wings useless, thus stopping her from flying around, and now Selene becomes an easy target. Losing her wings means losing speed but was that really it?

"Only if you had not dodged, things would have ended pretty quickly and painless!" He scoffed indignantly.

The best friends stood back up on their feet, standing beside each other, their vessels on the verge of collapsing. They could barely stand, supporting each other, wrapping their hand on the other's shoulder.

"Look at you two! Is this what they call the power of friendship?" Ukobach mockingly asked, emphasizing the last three words by quoting with his fingers. "Don't get stronger than me now. Haha!"
