289. The Calm Before The Storm VIII

And not so long ago, after the village's chief said how he feels about the sudden intrusion of Fritz and Alice, a flash of purple lightning abruptly, shockingly struck the tallest house in the village, thus instantly burning it to the ground.

Fear quickly clouded the noble villagers' minds, baffled and frozen on their feet as another purple lightning struck yet again the second-tallest house, which immediately turned to rubbish.

"What's happening?! Is it god that's punishing us right now for doubting the existence of these people?!"

The village's chief immediately regretted doubting Fritz and Alice.

"Oh, dear envoys of god, please tell your god that we have doubted your existence and sinned the two of you. Please... or else our beloved holy land will be destroyed."

But little did these villagers know that both Fritz and Alice had no idea what was going on and why there was purple lightning striking their holy land.
