Chapter 327: Back in Action

Malvis had read the first notice from the system but completely forgot about it when he had some sword training with Zane. And now that he was reminded again of the existence of a monster, Malvis was thinking about what he should do.

"The system never told me when a monster is approaching. Receiving a notice from the system now kind of shows the difference."

He was talking out loud with himself, so Zane could hear everything that came out of his mouth while basking in the gust of wind that felt soothingly refreshing after sweating profusely for a couple of minutes.

"System? Receiving notice? There's a monster in town?"

But instead of playing dumb in front of Zane, Malvis chose to tell Zane the truth.
