Chapter 337: Take Aim

Once the two were done resting, Malvis and Zane finally entered the forest, leaving the spot where the ashes and cinders of their trail were left behind.

On the cold winter afternoon, paving their path deeper into the forest, Malvis and Zane were observing their surroundings. Looking for a possible threat, the rustling of leaves and bushes made the snow on top fall, thus adding to the gradually succeeding level of snow.

"Moving around in this knee-deep snow is kinda hard."

"Isn't this a good exercise for our lower halves? Leg day to be exact."

"That's true. It's just a bit tiring because I don't usually walk in snow buried knee-deep in it."

"You'll get used to it. Once you get the hang of it, you'll realize that walking knee-deep in mud is harder than shoving the snow out of your way."
