Xuanji silently followed Yu Sifeng for a while and saw that though his steps were unsteady, he wasn't as severely drunk as Zhong Minyan. Thus, she softly said, "Si Feng, are you alright?"


He paused for a moment, then shook his head and said, "I'm fine, go back. You don't need to see me off."


Xuanji uttered an "oh," glanced back at him uneasily, and then turned to walk away. After a while, she suddenly felt something was wrong. She quickly turned around, only to see him standing there, watching her with a gaze she had never seen on Yu Sifeng's face before, which made her freeze.


He just smiled, waved his hand, and turned to walk away.


Unable to help herself, Xuanji chased after him, wanting to grasp his arm. Somehow, she hesitated, feeling a slight heat at the mark behind her ear, not even knowing what she was afraid of. Her hand reached out halfway and then drew back.
