Chapter 90

Putting the vehicle in park, Kazimir steps out and walks over to Alexei.

"How was the meeting?"

"Splendid, splendid. One of the best meetings I've had in a while. I was even gifted a new car."

The young law student points over to an Aston Martin and Kazimir nods.

"Unfortunately, as much as I'd like to stay, my cousin is calling for an emergency family meeting. I have a private jet waiting at the local airport, so all we have to do is load the other semi on as well as the two SUVs and this new car. We should arrive in Georgia around 8 or 9 tonight which will give us some time to book a hotel room. From there, we'll deliver the truck to it's designated address the next day and then head back to Claiza City immediately after."

"Alright." Kazimir says.

"Here's the address to the airport. The airplane is the same one that we took to Monaco. Make sure the Aston Martin and your SUV gets loaded on before I come back with the other truck."

Upon walking a couple of steps, Alexei turns back to Kazimir.

"Mr. Cizetto? Didn't you bring Ellie along?"

"Oh, shit. I completely forgot." Kazimir mutters, taking out his phone to message the young woman. "She went out to eat with Brent Domonkos and I haven't seen her since."

"Knowing him, she's probably being held against her will or dead." Alexei says, sighing.

"Alright, she says Brent plans to keep her company here for a few days and then she's off to Germany."

The young law student shrugs before making his way over to his own SUV.

Putting the tulips in the passenger seat, Kazimir sighs as he watches a petal fall.

"Please don't wilt before I deliver you to your destination."

"Ms. Ellison?"

Looking up, Nia watches as Captain Uzini walks into the room, a younger male she'd never seen before following him.

"This is the new trainee I was telling you about, Haruki Feliano."

The young woman smiles and nods.

"Thank you, Captain. I should have it from here."

"Just let me know if you need anything."

Watching as the older man closes the door behind him, Haruki turns back to Nia.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Mr. Feliano. As you probably already know, my name is Nia Ellison."

"Yeah, nice to meet you. So are we in the same group or do you just train me and then I get moved someplace else?"

"Usually the department will put trainees with the group they'd want that person to be with. So, yes; we're in the same group."

"Oh, goodie. I was afraid I was going to wind up with someone rude."

Nia chuckles and stands up, grabbing her mug to refill her coffee.

"I'm going to refill my cup of coffee and then we'll get started with your training afterwards. Would you like to come along?"

"I don't mind." Haruki says as he opens the door for the young woman. "Is this the same team that my cousin Milette is on?"

"Unfortunately not." Nia replies. "However, if you'd like, you can put in a request to be transferred to her department."

"That's alright. I just don't really know anyone here so I'm a little nervous."

"Oh, I definitely understand. I promise, everyone's nice for the most part."

"Nia! Could you help me with something really quick?!"

The young woman turns around and nods as one of her co-workers approaches her.

"Certainly. Haruki, the break room is that 2nd door right over there. Help yourself to anything you'd like, I'll be back in a few."

Opening the door to the break room, Haruki opens a box of donuts and takes one with sprinkles.

"So you must be Haruki Feliano."

Turning around, the gamer nods.

"And what about it?"

"My, I was only trying to be nice but if that's how you'd like to go-

Stepping on the young man's shoe, Caio takes a step back and shakes his head.

"You keep as far as a distance from the girl you're training with."

"Why? You don't own her."

"No but she's the only girl I'd kill for, so just do as I say."

Haruki laughs as he pours some coffee into a styrofoam cup.

"So if I keep hanging around this bitch, you're going to murder me? What the fuck?"

*CRACK!*

Squatting down, Caio picks up the gamer, proceeding to spit in his cup of coffee.

"Don't call her a bitch again."

Holding his bloody nose, Haruki smiles.

"Ohhhh. I am so sorry, I just thought you were one of those men who didn't really give a fuck."

Standing up, the gamer brushes himself off and tilts his head as Caio watches him.

"You know, something's off with your outfit. I think you're missing something."

*SPLASH!*

Dropping the empty cup on the floor, Haruki nods as he watches hot coffee stain Caio's shirt.

"That's better."

"YOU LITTLE-

Quickly pulling the glasses off Caio's face, the gamer snaps them in half.

"You know what I like doing for fun? Pissing people off. You and every other bastard in this department better make sure there's not too much fun going on."

"What in the world?"

The two males turn to the door as Nia gives them both a confused look.

"Nia, I am not letting you train that idiot!" Caio says, walking over to the young woman.

"Can I please get an explanation of what's going on?"

"Your man punched me when I complimented you." Haruki replies, wiping some blood on his sleeve.

"Referring to her a bitch is not a fucking compliment, dumbass! Nia, I'll take over from here."

"But Caio, I-

"Nia, just go find something else to do. Okay?"

The young woman sighs and nods, closing the door behind her.

"I am not like my baby brother who doesn't like fighting people. I'll hit you if I feel the need, so if you don't like getting bruised, I suggest you keep your inappropriate thoughts to yourself."

"And if you don't like getting written up for assault, best keep your hands to yourself, buddy." Haruki says, smirking. "Now, what's the plan for today?"

————

"MOMMY! PAPí GOT A NEW CAR!"

Sighing, Prince's mother walks out of her house as Pierre steps out of his car.

"I thought you and I agreed that you'd stop being so flashy around Prince." Celeste says, watching as the little boy climbs into the driver's seat.

"I'm a father, bae, but I'm also Pierre Richano." the man says, giving his child's mother a kiss on the temple. "Can't walk around lookin' broke. What's for breakfast?"

"Who said you were eating breakfast here?"

"Don't start this shit in front of Prince. I don't even get why you're trying to keep my son away from me."

Celeste pushes Pierre away from her and scowls.

"Because I don't need him turning into you. Constantly disrespecting others, selling drugs, pretending to be something he isn't, etcetera."

Pierre sighs, adjusting the baseball cap on his head.

"Anyway, I guess I'll take my son out for a father-son day. Prince, you wanna spend some time with me today?!"

Happily jumping out of the car, Prince runs over to his father.

"Yeah! Can I match with you?"

"Sure. Let's go find some similar clothes for you."

Watching as the two walk into the house, Celeste sighs and shakes her head at the sight of Pierre's new car.

"Why did this man ever step foot into my life?"
