Hearing his voice, he turned his head towards him, somewhat surprised, "Mr. Xiao, why did you come personally?"
Xiao Mohan sat on the mahogany chair, his back upright, looking down at the man on the bed.
"Mr. Hei is injured, it's only right for me to come," Xiao Mohan said softly, creating a distance between them.
Upon hearing this, the man on the bed could no longer lie down and struggled to climb up.
"Mr. Xiao, did Mr. Hei do something wrong?" Mr. Hei tried to sit up, suppressing the pain from his injuries and sitting at the edge of the bed, looking respectful yet uneasy.
Xiao Mohan was sitting in the chair, shooting him a glance before standing up slowly and walking over to him, supporting his arm: "If your injuries are serious, then just lie down."
"Yes." Overwhelmed, Mr. Hei allowed Xiao Mohan to help him lie down.
He laid on the bed feeling somewhat uneasy.
