It was Sunday morning. Night had a shocked expression on his face. He was checking his bank balance to be able to make more accurate plans for the future. He was supposed to have a few thousand rubies he had stolen from his aunt. The balance he had right now was 4,5 million.
'Will the surprizes never end?'
Yesterday, Night was tired after leaving the morgue so had chosen to go to a hotel to sleep. Before bed he had checked the windows again and with the familiar window a new small one had appeared as well.

The exp part had risen from 0 to 40. Night suspected exp to mean experience. In games you would get it from different activities and level up like that so maybe his level or the rank would also go up after he got enough experience. The skill name was now showing here too. Night decided to call this one status window from now on.

The question marks were gone! He could see the skill properly now! Night was quite speechless seeing the skill explanation. There was so much in it that he had to read everything multiple times.

'So the points earned window earlier was about this.'
'I have 400 points now and I can use them in the shop… Think I'll save them for now.'
By thinking about the items and skills in the shop he could understand what they did, but they didn't open a new window with explanations on their own. 10 exp would give him 10 experience.
'I think that allows me to buy levels.'
Point boost pill would increase the points he earns from sex for 24 hours, sleeping potion makes the target sleep for 1 hour, XXXL Unicorn Dildo was well… a super big dildo, Double Points doubles the points he earns and Half the shop cost halves the cost of all the items in the shop.
X-Ray Vision would allow him to look through anything but thicker the objects were more tiring it would be for him. Minor charm would slowly charm his targets overtime, but its effectiveness was small. He also had to see the target to be able to use that. Minor invisibility turns him invisible for 1 minute, every use tires him the same amount.
Compelling charm, the most expensive skill in the shop, was something Night would call "cc" in other words crowd control. The skill targets one person forcing them to slowly move towards him. The duration of the charm was dependent on the user and the target, but for as long as it wasn't countered somehow, it would always last at least 3 seconds.
'There are items, skill upgrades and skills in the shop. Those skill upgrades look pretty insane. Double Points? Cost is only 200 points? With that I would have gotten 500 points from the sex earlier??? And the other one halves the cost of all the items in the store???'
'There are some cool skills too. I'll think about them later.'
'Next is items. Is it some kind of inventory system? Hmm… It doesn't seem to take anything in though.'
Night tried to put his phone to the items list, but it didn't seem to work.
'The sleeping potion is the same one from before.'
'Sex ticket allows the owner to have sex with the person they give the ticket to but there's a small possibility of them being able to repel that. In that case the ticket would return to the owner. There's only one of them. I better use that well.'
Night smiled and thought it would be fun if he could buy more of them from the shop.
'Contraception? It's a skill. Err.. Activate?'

The small window showed up again before disappearing. Checking his status window, he saw the Contraception skill there. By thinking about the skill, he could understand what it did. The skill didn't open a window though. It was a togglable skill that did exactly what the skill name would suggest.

When activated the skill holder didn't need to worry about pregnancy. He wasn't exactly sure how it worked but it probably did something to his sperm making it impossible to get a woman pregnant when it was turned on. Night gave a wry smile for that.
'Awfully convenient.'
'Now then... moving on… Leah Jade, her last name was Jade… affection 0/100. Not sure exactly what this affection is but maybe I will find out later.'
'Quests… I can claim one of the quest rewards. It gives 500 points and 1 new item to shop. Would the double points skill upgrade double these quest rewards too?'
Night was blown away by some of the stuff he saw here. After thinking what he should do for quite a long time he started experimenting a little bit.
First, he discarded XXXL Unicorn Dildo as he didn't need that. The shop was left with only 9 items.
'Discarding it just leaves a plank space there.'
He bought the Half the shop cost upgrade for 200 points which should cut the prices of all the items in half.
'10 exp item price is still the same… Well it did cut the others.'
He had 200 points left. Then he bought the Double Points upgrade for 100 points leaving him with 100 points.
Night checked the quests. Double Points had doubled all the reward points as he had guessed. He chose to claim it now giving him 1000 more points and a new skill item to the shop. He checked all the changes again now.

Night had 1100 points now. There was also a new skill called Magic hands. The skill would passively increase the pleasure the user's hands gives and if activated it would add an arousing effect too. The power of the effect was dependent on the skill user and the target.
'There seem to be multiple skills where the power of the skill is dependent on the user and the target. I wander what are the affecting factors though. '
'Maybe in my case it would be the level or the rank.'
'Well anyways I'll buy magic hands. Maybe that could be useful for getting more points.'
'That leaves me with 600 points left. Should I save them or try to test that exp thing?'
After buying one 10 exp item Night confirmed one of his guesses. They would probably never run out. He wasn't able to discard them and the skill upgrade didn't affect it either. Night thought it was somehow special.
'I could try to buy 100 exp and see if that makes any difference. Actually, I have 50 exp already so I'll buy only 50 for now. Let's see if it makes a difference.'

'I got a level! I don't feel any different though. 540 points left so I could probably level up 5 more times.'
'3 Sleeping potions and 1 point boost pill costs 200 points in total. I'll save enough points to buy those just in case and use the rest to exp.'

Night used 300 points for the exp. He found out that he levels up once every 100 exp so the 40 points wouldn't make a difference. He was level 5 now with 240 points left.
'I can see a difference this time. My eyesight improved drastically.'
Night rolled his shirt up a bit and noticed he had some muscle. He hadn't exercised much in years. He used to be part of the school's swimming team, but he stopped going on his first year in high school. He spent most of his time on computer and lazing around so he was quite skinny. Now his arms were slightly thicker than before, and he had barely noticeable abbs.
'Those levels improve my build. Since my eyesight improved perhaps my other senses are better now too.'
'Well, Let's check my status and the skill one more time.'

'I figured out the skill stuff now. I'll think about the rest tomorrow. Time to sleep.'
Back to the present. After waking up Night opened his laptop to check his money and found he had several millions instead of the few thousands he was supposed to have. He checked where the money had come from and found that his aunt had sent it to him two weeks ago. That was probably the most absurd part in this. Night had checked his balance last Thursday when she said he would have to leave, and he only had few thousands back then. Now according to his bank, he got the money two weeks ago.
He wasn't sure if someone was messing with him. In the morgue they had no idea about him too, but all his stuff was there. Now that Night knew his skill was real, he thought that maybe some people were using some other skills to make all of this happen. Did someone mess with his memory or was it something else?
He still needs to find out what happened with that horse mask guy and the explosion. Maybe the mask guy had a skill too. Night stopped there. He was lacking too much information to make useful assumptions.
It was Sunday morning, and he would have to wait for the next day to be able to rent a place for himself. Now that he had lots of money, he could also buy a house instead. He wouldn't need to worry about the rent.
Night had two new skills. One of them was just the contraception but he was eager to try the magic hands. It was a new skill he hadn't tried before so he wanted to see its effects. He would also try to activate whatever caused him and Leah to go into heat, but he had a feeling that ability was a onetime thing.
After he was done with all that, he would focus on the quests. They seemed to be a good source of points. The sex ticket could be helpful in completing those. He also wanted to learn more about Leah. Maybe he would visit the morgue after things calm down little bit.
