Flower

I want to grow a flower

I've admired them for years

Now I think I'm ready to

Despite all of my fears

Let's water it with love

And sprinkle on a kiss

The sun will not stop shining

In our little land of bliss

The leaves are growing strong now

The petals start to bloom

You thought that it was healthy

So you left it to its doom

That's not the way a flower works

There's more to do, my dear

You've got to just keep with it

Just how to grow a flower

They only showed you weeds
