046 Premonition Of Chaos

Heat.

No. To describe it as heat would not do it justice. Rather than heat it was more like an accursed wave of feral red that surpassed anything the nine hells could ever hope to offer.

This blistering suffocating intensity surrounded me, incinerating my body with its crimson blaze.

I found myself trapped in its perpetual flame of agony. The air searing the outside of my body while burning the inside simultaneously. Not only was it an enormous effort to simply breathe, but moving at any speed would quickly awaken unimaginable pain.

As I looked around to take in the scene, my eyes absorbed an environment which I had not witnessed in quite some time.

Rivers of flowing lava were scattered everywhere. Molten rock and volcanic ruin laid about. Geysers of boiling steam exploding from the ground at random locations.

It was the true hell of Luna.
