Minutes at the most passed by before both Ventus and I were done with the food we were given. It was a strange yet enjoyable experience.

Being handed a plate of actual good food in an underground hideout and eating it too fast simply because you haven't had a decent meal in a while.

Surely I didn't ever expect to have that experience. Honestly I didn't mind it though, probably because I currently had a full stomach.

We put the trays that had been handed to us on the table and ventured forth the maze like structure. Recalling Zare's instructions we made it to the designated location within seconds.

Standing before us was a solid dark wood door. The grain of the wood was still visible despite the poorly candle lit dirt hallway we were in.
