075 Hidden Enemy

They took offense to my words. Why wouldn't they? After all I had just knocked out their friend without much effort.

I didn't care. In my mind she was the most dangerous one of the three simply because I couldn't figure out how she effectively played her part.

The way both Phinn and Samuel guarded her in the beginning could only allow me to think that she had several sneaky and underhanded methods beneath her sleeves. This was further confirmed by the magical tipped arrow she used. I had no recollection of there ever being such an item known to exist. I know a lot has changed in the past five years I've been gone but that seems more like a skill or an ability than an item.

Regardless, me being outnumbered in the manner that I was for this fight, that was the only logical course of action to take.

Lakia needed to go first.
