I watched as Roydon's shirtless back muscles coiled and released with explosive efficiency as he drew and slammed his smithing hammer into the red hot metal that lay on his anvil. I was examining his back muscles not because they have won over my desires or any such suspect reason, but rather because watching the kinetic action allowed me to gain learned skill levels even more efficiently. Over the past few days, since the creation of my armour started, I had split my time watching Roydon's Smithing and Cecelia's Enchanting. I already had Enchanting at Level 2, and Smithing was Level 1, and I felt it was on the precipice of levelling up. I had yet to spend any of my points, as I wanted to see how many levels I could gain through observation and practice. Plus, I seemed to be getting standard experience points from learning.
