13DAYS BEFORE THE PARTY

"a valentines fair? " Jehyun and his friends and Seojun looked up from Junghoon's notebook after reading his plan for the month of valentines. They looked at the older who was being back hugged by the soloist. Seojun snorted as he watched a tomato faced Junghoon Try to pry himself away from Jayden.

If he wasn't friends with them for a long time then he would have mistaken them as a couple. Now, Junghoon and Jayden's history goes way back but that's for another time.

"why don't we do that 14 gifts thing that the company started last year? " Seojun suggested, cringing at the memory of all the chocolates he got from his fans who happened to be trainees. "on second tho—"

"that's a good idea Jun! " Jung hoon successfully got out of the soloist's hold and quickly ran to Joshua, where he hid behind the junior. There was no way he's going to let himself be hugged again by that soloist.

"wait there's something like that in the company? " Jin asked in disbelief. The last time he saw the staff there celebrationg valentines month was when his cousin, the CEO, wasn't married yet. "didn't we stop that after she got married"

"yeah but someone brought it back. Change of heart you can say" Jung hoon shrugged. Honestly, he doesn't get why the CEO had to bring it back and even suggest to have those 14 gifts when majority of the staff members were single. "and that's the reason why Seojun's idea is perfect and during valentines day we can have a big program to conclude the celebration"

"such as? " Hiro raised a brow.

"a party. A huge one with the best singers in the city and designed by the best event organizers" Seojun proposed, placing his chin on his lion cub's shoulder and back hugging him. Jehyun didnt mind since the celebrity has been doing the action since last week after the celebrity claimed that he was "my favorite walking plushie"

"Junie ! "everyone turned their attention to the girl who entered the empty classroom. Seojun and Jayden's smile fell as they realized who it was.

"what is it now Niommi? " they simultaneously asked, bothered with the girl's presense. They didn't really like her around, especially when Jehyun and his friends and Jung hoon were there.

"uh... The car is ready and we kinda have to go to the company" the girl fidgeted from where she stood, which Junghoon and Jehyun found annoying. They weren't being mean or anything, they just hated how she acted like she's prey and the two male celebrities were predators.

Chen on the other hand had a bad feeling about this Niommi girl even though they happen to be classmates. It just doesn't sit with him how the girl would smile fakely at Jehyun then roll her eyes later on. He just knew she's bound to bring trouble.

"didn't you hear, we don't have any schedule so we're free to stay as long as we want" Jayden said, fighting the urge to just shout for her to leave. If only there weren't any other people around then he would have yeeted her out of the window already.

"yeah and I don't think we're needed in the company. I finished memorizing my script and Jayden here already finished recording for his comeback " Seojun gestured to his best pal. "so feel free to leave"

"but Seojun, we're both the lead in the drama so why don't we—"

"I said I won't be going! " everyone flinched at Seojun who raised his voice. Niommi on the other hand held her composure.

"I-is that so " he voice wavered as she badly wanted to cry. "o-okay"

Jayden and Seojun both rolled there eyes as the girl was planning to use the crying card to make them feel guilty. "don't even think of crying cause we would care and so will these guys"

"don't care" Jehyun widen his eyes as Seojun growled at him, sending a warning look. He looked at Jung hoon who was the same as him. They just got scolded by the celebrities. "get out before I drag you out"

"I suggest you be careful around that female dog" Chen said warily, eyeing Niommi who was busy trying to strike a conversation with Jayden. "I don't like her"

"you don't like everyone Chen" Jehyun sighed, closing his notebook to turn and look at his friend. Chen wouldn't stop warning him about Niommi ever since yesterday and the moment he arrived in their classroom this morning. Even Joshua was getting annoyed. "and I think it's rude to assume her that way"

Jin, who was busy trying to avoid talking to Hiro, looked at their way, frowning as he remembered something about Niommi. If Seojun was the embodiment of trouble, then she was the embodiment of evil.

As jehyun was about go back to reading when a pair of hands covered his veiw. He raised his own and placed them on top, instantly knowing who it was. "Kim Seojun "

A chuckle was heard and it made Jehyun's heart beat for some reason. The rumble on seojun's chest when he chuckled somehow made jehyun think And feel many things. "aw can't I play lion cub? "

Jehyun blinked once he was able to see clearly, turning his head, he was greeted with the sight of a heart shaped box reached out for him by the celebrity. Perplexed he looked at the celebrity. "what's this? "

"for the 14 days" Seojun simply shrugged before taking the cub's hand and gently placing the box on top. "for you my lion cub"

Jehyun was flushed. But wait, Junghoon actually agreed to the 14 days thing Seojun suggested. And there he thought they hated each other. "wait he agreed? "

Seojun nodded his head before leaning down to Jehyun's height and placing an unsuspecting kiss on his forehead before going back to his seat.

This made jehyun blush A bright red from his seat. He was sure everyone saw it and not to mention that Jayden was there as well.

But..

Why would Seojun be giving him this when he isn't even his valentine? And kiss him at that. Speaking of valentine he hasn't asked anyone to be his partner for the party and for being his valentine. Maybe he should ask Chen since the butterfly would have no one to ask anyway.

"Chen, I don't think stuffing a seniors locker with roses show you are confessing" Jehyun made sure to look around before looking back at Chen who somewhat was able to open a locker that belongs to a senior from the basketball team. he knew what they were doing was illegal but he also knew that Chen was persistent in making him come and act as a watch out while he does whatever he is doing.

"oh come on Hyun, Im in desperate need of a partner right now. " Chen made sure to arrange the roses properly before placing a picture frame of the senior at the center. "I'm not like you and Jin who have boys whipped for them"

"I get Jin but who would be whipped for me? " jehyun asked the older only to get a look.

"Hyun, I don't know if your dumb or dense—maybe both actually but it's obvious that Seojun is catching feelings for you"

Seojun, the egoistic celebrity, catching feelings for him? this made him throw his head back in laughter, slapping chen's shoulder who tried to move away. "HAHAHAHA VERY FUNNY CHEN. ME, LEE JEHYUN, WITH HE, KIM SEOJUN. NO WAY NEVER"

"that's what they all say" Chen grumbled before closing the locker. the butterfly then hooked his arm together Jehyun and directed them to the cafeteria he knew the others were waiting for him. I forgot to mention that it was free Period. "you really need to open your eyes hyun"

"my eyes are open" Jehyun shot back.

"not your eyes eyes but the eyes of your heart"

"what? " jehyun grew confused at what the butterfly meant. he slightly moved away from the butterfly. "Chen I don't speak weirdo so please enlighten me"

Chen sighed, pushing open the cafeteria doors. he spotted the rest on their regular table. he also spotted their two senior friends. "look at him with your heart Hyun. there's more that what your eyes can see that the only heart can see"

Jehyun jumped back as his locker was suddenly slammed shut. Turning to his right, he saw a fuming Niommi who was leaning on the locker beside his. She was glaring at him.

"Can I—"

"Can you stop grabbing his attention? " she snarled, harshly grabbing his blazer and pulling him down to her height. Jehyun was petrified since he wasn't the type to be bullied. "I am his partner in the movie and real life. So don't and I mean don't even think of coming in between"

He felt his breath swept away from his as she shoved him to the ground and making sure to stomp on his books that fell before walking away.

Once she was lost was when Jehyun stood up, brushing the dirt that accumulated on his uniform and scoffing. "Chen was right, she is a female dog"

turning around, Jehyun caught the sight of a panting Seojun who was trying to catch up to him. deciding to halt, he waited for the celebrity to reach him. he expected the celebrity to annoy him not

hug him. tightly that is.

"I'm sorry" Seojun mumble loud enough for him to here. he pulled Jehyun closer and patted his head. "I'll do my best to protect you"

"what? " jehyun manage to put some space between them and looked at the older's eyes.

"Niommi. I'll try to protect you from niommi" Seojun answered him, the hands once on his waist now on his shoulders. he winced as the celebrity held them tightly. the look in the older's eyes make Jehyun scared as they weren't the normal warm brown eyes he was accustomed to, instead they were bloodshot eyes that help so much hatred. "I'll protect you in anyway I can"

"what no—" shaking off the hand on his shoulders, Jehyun took a few steps backwards. he didn't want to go near Seojun who looked like that. "I can manage Seojun. I really can. she can hurt me but that wouldn't faze me. even thought she's a celebrity, I still a superiority over her"

"what no. lion cub let me protect you. you don't know what she's capable of doing" Seojun grew frustrated as how Jehyun refused the protection he offered. he knew he wasn't supposed to care for the younger but seeing as how Niommi harbors hatred towards his lion cub then there's no other reason to care.

"seojun" Jehyun sighed, seeing how the older was persistent to protect him. "you don't need to worry because—"

"what if she tries to harm you"

"what if she tries to frame you? I've seen what she's done to others"

"seojun" Jehyun gritted his teeth, annoyance laced his voice as he was annoyed of being interrupted. "you don't need to worry about me because—" he raised both of his hands up to his shoulder before letting his fingers form claws.

Seojun would be lying if he said he didn't find the Jehyun in front of him not cute. the younger did not look Intimidating, instead he looked like a kitty trying to scare off his owner. he watched as Jehyun tried to let out roars. so without the younger knowing he walked closer until they were a few centimeters apart. he leaned closer to the lion cub before placing a hand on top of the younger's head. "did you know that in dinosaur roar means I love you"
