Jehyun had to force himself awake. the maids in his mom's place wouldn't stop pestering him. to wake up for the saying, complaining about how he would be late to school. he didn't even know why he was going back when he was absent to three weeks already. nevertheless he woke up, got out of bed, showered, changed to his uniform, and is now making his way to the dining area with a maid trailing behind him with his bag.

❝good morning mom! ❞ he went to the woman who sat head at the table placed a kiss on her cheeks.

the two reconciled after that morning. it took them a few days to adjust to their new way of living, being sweet and all. nevertheless things worked out and their now closer than before. there are time we're it gets awkward but they would later on laugh it off.

❝good morning hyunie❞ his mom motioned to one of the servers to serve her sone breakfast. she then smiled at the sight of her son all ready for school. ❝gosh, ❞ she gushed, ❝you're all grown up now. one more year and you're graduating❞

Jehyun shook his head. ❝I still have college mom❞ he thanked the server before starting to slice the pancakes they were having for breakfast.

his mom showed an unamused expression. ❝even though. you'll be graduating in a year Hyun, do you have any course in mind? ❞

he did actually. he wanted to take criminology but since he's the only child now and have the responsibility of taking over his mom's business, he decided to shift to business and accounting. ❝business and accounting maybe❞

his mom sighed, taking the hand closer to her and squeezing it. ❝Jehyun we talked about this, don't feel burdensome about your responsibilities as my son. if you don't want to take over the business then I can have someone else take over it.

❝mom❞ he called slowly, ❝big Bro always told me that I'm gifted when it comes to business and accounting. in fact, he would laugh every time I would answer one of your workers when they ask me what was this and that❞

❝both of you did? ❞ heavens did it make her feel guilty. she felt like she doesn't know anything about her sons. she heaved a heavy sigh. ❝heavens I don't know anything about the two of you❞

❝mom, that's the reason why we're starting to grow closer. you won't know everything at once, you'll have to learn it step by step and I don't hate you for it. think of it as me surprising you❞ he reassured, taking the hand that wasn't held and placing it on top of his mom's hand and squeezing it gently. ❝I love you mom❞

his mom smiled before getting up from her seat and planting a kiss on his forehead. ❝I love you too hyunie❞

being engulfed into a tight hug by four people and falling on his back on the concrete ground was not his ideal greeting early in the morning.

Jehyun who felt like his back was about to break, pusjed the four people on top of him before standing up and cracking his back. ❝what the hell you guys. my back hurts❞ he grumbled, each eyeing the four who sheepishly stood in front of him. seeing that they wouldn't do anything else, he decided the least thing he could do. spreading his arms wide open, he raised his head towards the gloomy skies. ❝come here, give it a hu—oof❞

again with landing on the ground on his back, Jehyun huffed, trying to find a way to breath despite the heavy bodies on top of him.

❝jehyunie! ❞ Chen cried, blowing his nose on Joshua's blazer which made the oldest scrunch his nose in disgust. ❝I thought you left me! ❞

❝I thought you moved schools! ❞hiro cried before hitting Jehyun on his shoulder, hard. ❝assfuck you worried me! ❞

❝hyun❞ jin Started off slowly before bursting. ❝do you know how much I begged my cousin to let Seojun off his schedule to see you!? I almost kneeled! ❞

❝guys! ❞ Joshua groaned loudly, annoyed that he was the one being squished by their dramatic asses. ❝get off and let me and Jehyun breath! ❞

❝oh right❞ it was like they forgot humans needed air. the three friend got off one another with hiro helping Jin only and pushing Chen to the side. the Japanese then decided to be nice and help Joshua and Jehyun up as well.

❝speaking of seojun❞ Jehyun dusted the dirt on his back, ❝where is he? ❞

the three friend suddenly gre quiet, exchanging silent looks Before turning to the Japanese who raised his hand in defence. ❝what now? ❞

the four friend gave each other one last look of confirmation before taking a deep breath. they were going to say it together. ❝Seojun... ❞ they started off slowly. ❝hasn't gone to school since you stopped going as well. ❞

Jehyun won't think of lying when he says he missed his grizzly bear. he hasn't seen the older for three weeks only to learn that he was absent the same time as him and hasn't contacted any of his friends. he even feels guilty for pushing away Junghoon who was trying to help. speaking of Junghoon, he hasn't seen the older and his own boyfriend. the two somehow disappeared into think smoke.

❝Hyun you should stop worrying and start eating❞ Jin reminded the youngest, using his fork to point at the gourmet dish he bought. ❝he might be busy❞

❝notnonly that but Junghoon hasn't gone to school for a week leaving all the schoolwork to me❞ the eldest, Joshua, huffed before plopping the steak he slicded into his mouth. he huffed as he chewed. it took him two minutes to finish chewing and swallowing. ❝which I find weird since he would inform us ahead of time❞ he proceeded to shake his head as he sliced his steak. ❝something smells fishly❞

❝I agree❞ Chen nod his head rapidly, he had his phone in his hand, leisurely scrolling through his social media account. ❝it's sus—oh my god! ❞ he stopped at a specific celebrity article. clicking on the link, he couldn't help but let his jaw hang open. ❝look! ❞

creasing their foreheads, the other three friends neared the butterfly and let out loud gasps that could be heard over the loud cafeteria.

Hiro clicked his tongue, rolling the sleeves of his dress shirt and getting up from his seat beside jin. he then reached for his car keys in his pocket. ❝that good for nothing bastard! I'm going to kill him! ❞ he seethed before turning towards the direction of the cafeteria main door. he was about to take step when Joshua pulled him back.

Joshua sighed at their stupidity. he knew they were bound to do something stupid and it was obvious that it would be something stupid. he got up from his own place before holding Chen by the back of his collar to stop the butterfly from storming off with hiro. he did the the same with the Japanese. ❝calm down the both of you. we'll see Seojun after—❞

❝guys Seojun texted! ❞ Jin exclaimed, taking jehyun's phone and showed them the notification.

Hiro and Chen scrunched their noses in confusion. ❝what does he mean by meet him up in the park? ❞

Jehyun didn't wait another second to skip school and dash his way to the park. he planned on calling his driver but knew it would take time especially during the afternoon traffic. he didn't even wait for his friends who were adamant on joining him. he planned on talking with Seojun about this news while his friends planned on beating the shit out of him(Chen and Hiro) and confronting him(Jin and Joshua)

what made them so shock anyway? well, the article stadted that Seojun is now in a relationship with Niommi and the two apparently have been together for two years. two fucking years. and here is Jehyun who thought that Seojun would choose him over anything.

I shouldn't be mad, Jehyun reminded himself as he ran. I was the one who asked for a break. maybe three weeks was too long for the older.

❝we're almost there actually❞ hiro glanced up from Jin's phone. he carried Jin on his back as he didn't want his boyfriend to be running. the group ran for two more. minutes before reaching the park's entrance. ❝we're here! ❞

Jehyun didn't think of stopping to take a breather. he immediately dashed to the tree area of the park. he knew the celebrity would choose the same tree where he confessed. fortunately he remembers where it is. he ran for a few. minutes before reaching a few feet away fro. the confess tree where he saw Seojun stand under. the older had his hands deep into his pockets and wore some shades. Jehyun stood there where he stopped for a minute to catch his breath before brisk walking to HIS boyfriend.

a man dressed in an expensive suit suddenly appeared from the bushes. with him were guards who were ready to attack. ❝we're going❞

❝you aren't? ❞ the man raised a brow, finding it amusing at the celebrity's bravery. he scoffed. ❝how idiotic. get him❞ he then gestured his men to take hold of the celebrity before turning to jehyu who was still kneeling on the ground. he wanted to snicker at how the younger looked so broken after a mere break up. kids these days. ❝take him to the van❞

❝oh no you're not! ❞ Seojun tried to pry himself away from the men that held his arms. you know what? fuck it I'm not doing this shit, he thought as he continued to try to pry himself away. he shot the man a dirty look.

the man snorted before crossing his arms aver his chest. ❝we'll see about that. take him to the van NOW! ❞

the man and Jehyun watched them and Seojun push to the van. by the time they were out of earshot, the two faced each other with glares. the man was first to speak after a minute of silence.

the two quickly snapped their heads to the direction of jehyun's friends' voices. the man cursed under his breath before turning on his heel and briskly walking away not before turning after five steps. ❝don't think this is over lee❞

the man then walked away. by the time he was completely gone his friends had already arrived.

Jehyun hesitated to tell them the truth. with them things would be easier but knowing that the problem would grow bigger if they did, he chose to keep a few details out. ❝we're off❞
