"and that kids is how I caught your father" Jehyun made sure to properly tuck in his kids who were fighting the urge to fall asleep but based on the tired yawns, they we going to soon.

"papa how did dad proposed to you? " his youngest, minyoung, asked while intentionally hitting her older brother's face.

This made Jehyun smile. "that's a story for another time" he didn't want his kids to follow their father's footsteps when it comes to proposing.

who in their right minds would suddenly say that they would break up only to propose later that day? God did Seojun deserve the beating he got from his friends and his mother. his brother must have seen it as well as the wind would stop blowing.

shaking his head at the memory, Jehyun place a gentle kiss on his children's heads before standing up from their beds. as he was about turn around and leave, he notice his eldest child staring at the book that one of their friend gifted on his birthday.

❝papa, even if you didn't meet dad before he was sent to your school would you still fall for him? ❞ minhyung asked with a pout and started rub his tired eyes.

jehyun could only smile at the child and sit back down. he ruffled his child's hair. ❝of course I would. even if we would restart I would always fall for your father❞

❝but what if he wouldn't? ❞ now his daughter joined in the conversation, somewhat awake despite her falling asleep seconds ago.

Jehyun didn't know where the questions of his kids were coming him. all he could guess was it was probably one of their friends who started to talk about this and his kids just happened to hear it.

❝papa? ❞

❝then papa would use a rope and catch your father. well more like your father would use the rope to catch me as I am irrestable❞ Jehyun flipped His non-existent long hair and smiled proudly in front of his kids. but it quickly went away as he remembered that his kids had school tomorrow and needed to sleep. he faked a cough ❝I think that's enough questioning. you two still have school tomorrow❞

❝but papa❞ they both whined with a pout as they let their papa fix their blanket. ❝we don't want to got to school❞

❝but your father wants to ❞ Jehyun deadpaned as the memory of his husband begging him to let their kids go to school with him(Seojun) watching over them. he found it peculiar as his kids never really complained about not wanting to go to school.

❝why do both of you suddenly not want to go? ❞

❝Hyaku, Jim, and Won are being idiots and I'm sick of seeing them. especially Won❞ the male whined, already annoyed at the thought of his friends who were the children of his papa's friends. ❝they're so annoying❞

Jehyun wanted to reprimand his son's use of the word idiot but realized that he felt the same way when he first met their parents. especially Chen who he wanted to yeet out of the window. he then turned to his daughter who shared the same annoyed expression as her older brother.

❝ I hate Shi. he always make fun of my height❞ his little girl whined at the mention of chen's second child who was the same age as her. ❝he's not even that tall! ❞

actually, Chen's second child was taller than the average height for his age. it made Jehyun think that he got it from his father, chen's husband.

shaking his head, he decided to stop the two's complain about their friends. they had a long day tomorrow as they were going to the company after school to spend some time with their father as they requested. ❝alright you two baby lions, you two promised you would sleep early in exchange of staying with your father while he works❞

at the mention of their father, the two baby lions quickly fixed themselves on their shared beds and forcefully shut their eyes. their father rarely brought them to the company as he didn't want them to get lost and because he wants to avoid them meeting up with his own two best friends who were married. this made Jehyun chuckle in amusement before placing one last kiss on their foreheads and standing up from their bed and leaving the room. he made sure to on the night light and turn of the main one.

walking down the stairs that overlooked the living room of their house, he saw his own husband sitting on the couch with the TV on but was fast asleep with drool. he shook his head. it was understandable, his husband was busy going around the company doing shows and whatnot while managing the family business.

❝hey❞ sitting beside his sleeping husband, Jehyun wiped the drool with the tissue he got from the tissue that was on the center table. ❝I told the kids about you bring them to work tomorrow. they were ecstatic and quickly closed their eyes. they should be asleep by now❞ Jehyun planned on leaving his husband on the couch with a blanket as he too was tired from managing the banks his family owned. but before he left, he decided to give a quick peck on seojun's lips.

by quick he meant a one second kiss not a full out make-out session. the older just happened to surprise him by bringing his lips crashing down as the older pushed his head. Jehyun had to stop himself from moaning as the older started to bite and bruise his lips.

❝ah... Seojun you... idiot❞ Jehyun panted after a two minute make-out. he hit his husband's chest as the other male could only smile suggestively at him. ❝not when the kids are around❞

his husband whined like a lost puppy. ❝come on lion cub, it's been so long❞

❝and you could wait longer❞ Jehyun deadpaned before getting up and walking up the stairs and into their bedroom.

Seojun heaved out a disappointment sigh. he knew Jehyun just wanted to preserve their children's innocence. something that some of their friends failed to do. he had to give it to his lion cub for keeping their kids' minds full of rainbows and unicorn and not lightning and eggplants.

seeing that his husband wouldn't come back down to calm him to bed, Seojun decided to drag himself up the stairs and into their bedroom. not forgetting to check on their kids who he found fast asleep.

❝hey❞ entering the dark room and closing the door behind him, he gently walked towards their bed and got in. facing to side and unfortunately jehyun's back. ❝are you still mad at me? ❞

was Jehyun mad? of course he is. his husband almost broke their no ducking Rule if the kids are around. it made him furious that Seojun wanted their kids to think of lighting and eggplants.

seeing that his husband wouldn't reply, Seojun decided the next best thing. hugging and spooning him Until he would talk which would probably be tomorrow. ❝well good night lion. I love you❞

Jehyun laid on his side wide awake. it was one in the morning. 3 hours after his husband fell asleep while spooning. he felt guilty that his he gave his husband the silent treatment instead of talking. this was his thing. he would not tell anyone his problem and simply leave them be. God it made him wonder why Seojun is still with him when every time they misunderstand each other it would mostly end to this. he turned to face Seojun.

Jehyun knew his husband was handsome. but he didn't expect it would before more when the lights are off. his husband looked like a prince, not that he isn't thought. but you get the point.

❝you should take a picture for your binder❞

narrowing his eyes to his husband who he knew was awake, Jehyun didn't hesitate to hit the man on the head. ❝you idiot you almost scared me❞

❝doesn't sound like it❞ Seojun hummed, pulling his lion cub closer. ❝are you still mad at me? ❞

❝what do you think? ❞ Jehyun sarcastically asked. it was early in the morning and he felt like he was going to lose his mind.

❝nope❞ Seojun hummed Before dipping His head where it settle on jehyun's hair. ❝it's the next day already❞

❝it is❞ Jehyun mumbled, wrapping his arms around seojun's torso and snuggling into his chest. ❝cuddle with me it's cold ❞

this made Seojun chuckle, Jehyun felt the vibration which lulled him a little.

❝you're such a cub❞ Seojun remarked quietly, glancing down at his husband who was fighting the urge to fall asleep.

❝yeah and I'm your cub grizzly bear❞ Jehyun responsed before letting out soft snores.

Seojun who was left awake simply hummed before changing their position where in he had his back on the bed and Jehyun on top of him. he wrapped his arms tighter on his husband's waist before placing a kiss on his hair. ❝I love you lion cub❞

❝do you think they went back to sleep? ❞

❝I think so❞

the two adults didn't notice the two small figures that stood outside the door while peeking in the tiny crack that they managed to open.

❝this is stupid❞ minhyung said, crossing over his arms and looking at his younger sibling with a bored look. ❝they're just sleeping❞

❝but I want to know if they made little sibling❞ minyoung whined, stomping Her feet on the ground. ❝aren't you curious❞

❝about the lightning and eggplants? ❞ minhyung shivered, ❝of course not❞ he wanted to curse at Won for ruining his innocent mind with his ramblings about his parents. he shook his head, he's supposed to the older one and the person who should order around. ❝come on we're going❞

❝but—❞

❝no buts. we still have school tomorrow❞
