Chapter 6.

•Overhaul's POV•

I felt my mobile device ring, phone? Was it a phone? I don't know, but it rang, anyways.

I was just tapping everything on it, until Chrono came in and noticed my struggling due to the gloves. He tapped the answer button for me and then walked back out.

I huffed, was it really that simple?!

"We have the pro hero here." I was greeted by Shiguraki's raspy voice.

"Aren't we supposed to say 'hello' first?" I decided to crack a joke, and I could tell he was unimpressed by my rare action. "Which pro hero?"

"Shockwave." He put it simply, as if trying to gain a reaction out of me.

"Shockwave, huh? I hear she's pretty powerful, although.. Of course no match for such villains as ourselves-"

"Let's skip straight to the point. I will give you the girl, if you give me your bullets." Shiguraki knew this was a tough bargain, but it'd seem even more suspicious if I chose to save Y/N.. But I couldn't help but contemplate on what would happen to her.

"What will you do to her?" I questioned.

"No, no.. The real question is, what will you do to her."

"How d'you know I'll do anything with her?"

"I'll be watching. Maybe you could even stick a bullet in her head to get rid of her and her quirk." He said it so slyly, as if he knew I wouldn't do anything to her.

"Bring her over. Just you." I said with malice, although we were partners within this alliance, I knew neither of us liked each other nor trusted one another.

He mumbled an agreement and hung up.

I waited a full hour for them to arrive, and patience really wasn't my strong point.

"About time." I said, as he followed me with Y/N shackled at the ankles and wrists. We made our way to the basement, and sat her down on a chair, near where I kept the bullets.

Shiguraki could see my hesitation. "Go on." He pressed.

I then pointed the gun towards him. "You'll take your leave now, or end up with a bullet between your eyes." I knew I'd won this one, but the alliance may be toast after this.

Shiguraki was scratching his neck again, and I finally clocked it! It was when he was nervous or things weren't going his way, how childish.

"Leave, now." I said as he hesitated. He began mumbling to himself before he turned and took his leave. I looked back at Y/N, who had wide eyes and a colour-drained face. I pulled the cloth down from her mouth and I couldn't help but forgive her sins towards me.

"I'll forgive you, so long as you keep yourself out of sight from the League of Villains and out of my way."

She shook her head at first, until I put the gun to her head. I knew I wasn't going to shoot her, but she didn't. She quickly nodded.

I placed the gun down and took a glove off, I placed my hand on the shackles as they quickly exploded out of existence.

"I'll see you another time." I nodded at her, as she nodded back and walked out.
