Chapter 15.

•Y/N POV•

I was literally dancing around my kitchen, swinging my hips from side to side and singing the lyrics to "Wild one".

"Hey, I heard you like the wild ones~" I continue to sing, humming the tune to myself as I did. I was whisking up some eggs for scrambled eggs on toast, for breakfast.

"Ooooh~" I continued, bobbing my head from side to side as I sung my loudest, at this point I didn't care if the neighbours heard or not.

I felt arms wrap around my waist, which I instinctively threw the egg mix back and into whoever's face it was- or.. Rather, mask. I glanced over my shoulder as they had let go and had a small stumble into the kitchen island.

"...Ugh.. This is disgusting.." Kai raised a gloved hand to his hair, and the egg mix linked to his glove as he pulled it back away, creating a small trail. I then noticed the flowers in his hands, which he had seemed to forgotten about due to my small mishap.

"Here- let me." I said as I grabbed a kitchen cloth, wetted it and walked back over. I wiped it over his head gently. He almost seemed like a small, innocent child as he peered up at me, watching, from leaning on the island now.

"Well, that is the least you could do after getting it yolk-y." He mumbled to himself, glancing away. I let out a snort of laughter.

"'Yolk-y'?" I snickered, holding back my laughter as his unamused expression flicked to me. I then coughed to cover it, quickly getting back to the task at hand. "I hope you realise that you just cost me my breakfast, and you can't even blame me. This was personal defence." I pouted as I continued to wipe his mask off now.

"So, if I really was here to kill you, you'd throw egg mix at my face?" He raised a brow, clearly rather unsatisfied by my defence mechanism. I cleared my throat and my gaze flicked anywhere but at him.

"W-well..."

"Nevermind. These are for you." He presented the bouquet of purple roses to me once I had finished and placed the cloth back on the sink. They were beautiful. He offered to them, and I quickly took them from him, only to inhale the fresh scent of the roses.

"Thank you, Kai." I smiled up at him, as he made a swift nod. My smile quickly dimmed, as I noticed his distraught expression. "What are you going to do? I feel like this is an apology before the action." I frowned now, as his gaze slid to me rather slowly. He looked guilty now.

"Well, L/N.. I plan on taking on that green-haired boy at UA." He spoke rather slowly, as if I were a child, carefully, even. His expression seemed to change to a more timid one, as he noticed my- supposedly- own furious expression.

"No, no, no way! He's barely a child, Kai! Don't you fucking dare!" My voice came out in an uproar as I squared up to him, clenching my fists and leaning slightly forwards. "There is no way I'm allowing that under my watch!" I growled through clenched teeth.

His gaze hardened as he leaned down, holding his knees and bending, as if I were a child. "I don't expect you to understand, but he happens to be a threat for my own plans. They benefit you, don't worry." He looked rather smug, even if his eyes were only on display. "And I didn't expect you to accept it, which is why I brought Yu Hojo."

I gasped. I could not believe this coward! He couldn't even treat me like an adult, instead leaving his brute to babysit me! This is ridiculous!

I stomp my foot and cross my arms. "Overhaul," I hissed. "If you leave here and kill Deku, I won't hesitate to kill you." I whisper through gritted teeth, the anger seething through my veins as I glare up at him.

"We'll see how far you get with that. Afterall, I'm the one with the bullets, baby." He was indefinitely smug right now.

"DON'T YOU DARE COME BACK TO ME!" I yell at him, turning and storming off to my room. There was no chance I'd get out with his brute blocking the door, so I'd have to get out through my window. Though, first, I'd need to get my hero costume on.

//A/N: Please come up with an imagery for your hero costume for the next chapter, which will be out soon! See you next time!
