The sound of a door closing could be heard as two-person entered a rather large room. Seeing the members of the Kira investigation all working hard, the two decided to make themselves known as the members turned around after noticing the new presence in the room.
"Name's Aber. I'm a con artist. Nice to meet ya all." said a suave looking man wearing a suit. His slicked back and shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes make him a fine specimen of a man.
"I'm Weddie. I'm a professional burglar." said a beautiful woman with shoulder-length blond hair and a curvy figure. She can be seen wearing black sunglasses, a fluffy fur hat and a chic office lady outfit.
"A... con artist and a burglar?" muttered Chief Yagami as he observed the two who had just entered. A little shocked at the identity of the helpers that L had procured.
"That's right. He is Aber. A man with a large mastery of psychology, linguistics, and diplomacy. He is able to get intimate with anyone he sets his eyes on without fail. She is Weddie. A beautiful woman with a talent for burglary like no other. Skilled with lockpicking and various security systems, she can unlock any kind of lock. As proof of her abilities, she managed to enter this room without anyone taking notice of her. They are both proper and real criminals." confirmed L as he proceeded to introduce the two of them.
"Are we going to investigate with criminals?" asked Chief Yagami hesitantly, not wanting to believe it.
"Not quite the same as the criminals whose faces are on the papers and end up getting punished by Kira. Think of them as professional dealers from the black market. I've got a few more helpers reserved. I'll call on them as required. None of them wants to show their faces but I might ask some of them to move into this building. I couldn't summon them while we were still working with the police... but now I suppose..." elaborated L as he stood up from his seat.
Hearing this revelation, the members of the investigation were silent in thought. In the end, Light Yagami took the lead in greeting the two before encouraging others to put aside their differences and work together since they were going against a great obstacle which is the Yotsuba Group.
As the few members in the room shook hands in greeting the two, a soft cough could be heard coming from the computer.
*Cough*
"Ahem, I'm sorry to interrupt but I have some additional news, especially for you L. This is because there is still another helper that is on their way here today." said Watari after managing to get the attention of the group.
"What is it Watari? I clearly remembered that I only requested to ask for the help of Abber and Weddie for now. I don't remember calling for any additional helpers." replied L as he tilted his head in confusion.
"I'm sorry but I took the initiative to ask a friend of mine to come to assist you in the investigation. Considering the current situation. I felt that he might be a great help. Apologise for not informing you." apologised Watari slowly but he was soon interrupted by L.
"Don't sweat the details Watari. You have always been a great help to us. I believe in your judgement. Though I would appreciate a heads up next time." replied L with a light-hearted tone as he waved off the apologies of Watari.
"Thank you, L." said Watari with relief. Glad that L did not disagree with his decision.
"Then, who is that helper and when will he arrive?" asked L curiously as the others also listened in.
"Well, he should be arriving soon-" began Watari but was soon interrupted by a loud sound.
*Bang*
The door of the room was suddenly kicked open with a bang as the group was greeted by a cheerful voice that seems to brighten up the room but gave everyone an annoying feeling deep in their heart.
"Hello~ Everyone! It is fine now. Why? Because I'm here!" cheered a loud voice that had suddenly appeared in the room, bringing everyone's attention towards the source of the voice.
The figure of a handsome young man wearing a ridiculous outfit could be seen.
"An intruder? Is he suppose to be here?" asked Abber haltingly as his smile twitched a little, feeling annoyed looking at the fashion disaster that just walked in.
"He looks more like a lost tourist though, to be honest." said Matsuda as he observed the young man.
"Who are you? This is a secured area. You should not be here." questioned Chief Yagami towards the young man that suddenly appeared.
"I am Yu." said the young man, Alma. with a smile.
"No, not me. You." replied Chief Yagami with a hint of annoyance.
"Yes, I am Yu." answered Alma with a hint of amusement.
"You just said what?" muttered Cheif Yagami in confusion.
"I did not say what, I said Yu." explained Alma slowly and he could swear that he saw the vein of the old police chief in front of him twitch in annoyance.
"And that's what I'm asking you. Just answer the question or we will be forced to interrogate you for trespassing." answered Chief Yagami exasperatingly.
"But I have just told you." responded Alma with a smile.
Listening to the banter between the two, L bit his thumb lightly in contemplation while the others looked at each other, unsure of what to make of this situation.
"Umm, guys. What if he just can't speak Japanese properly and could not really understand what we are asking him?" asked Matsuda as he scratched his head. Everyone then suddenly stopped what the were doing as they all became silent.
"What?" asked Matsuda hesitantly as he noticed that everyone was staring at him with wide eyes.
"Yes, you could be right. But I don't think that is the case." said L as he turned his attention towards a computer.
"If what I think is correct, that is the helper that you have called for us, right? Watari?" asked L towards Watari for confirmation.
"Yes. He is the one that I asked for help with. I knew he is a rather eccentric person... even I did not expect the current situation." muttered Watari as he observed the small little drama happening in the room via his computer.
"No. I for one think that he is skilled." began Light as everyone looked at him with a questioning look.
"You can see that he is also using an alias when he introduced himself. An Asian name though uncommon it may be. He is taking the proper precautions against Kira just like us. He probably managed to obtain this information somehow on his own even though the information is highly classified. I think I understand what Watari called him here for and his expertise. It is information am I right?" said Light as he looked towards Watari and L for confirmation.
"Yes. You are correct the reason-" confirmed Watari only to be interrupted by Alma.
"Wow, you are absolutely right. Though some of your conjectures were wrong though." commented Alma after hearing their thoughts.
"Oh? What do you mean?" asked L and Light curiously.
"I picked the name because I wanted to annoy someone! I have been preparing this bit for quite a long while and you wouldn't know how happy I was to be able to find someone that will allow me to complete my joke! Additionally, I did it to annoy you guys! The look on your faces when I entered this room in this get-up was worth it!" laughed Alma happily as he gazed at the faces of those in the room.
Seeing the annoyed and blank stare directed towards him, Alma laughed happily once again.
"I don't know why, but I feel like we just made a terrible mistake." muttered Light slowly as Chief Yagami and L nodded in agreement. They then looked at the funnily dressed Alma as he joked around and laughed while talking with Matsuda.
The serious atmosphere from the investigations were all blown away and was nowhere to be found. L then shrugged a little as he suggested to everyone to take a break and continue the talk over some food while having lunch.
Everything soon calmed down after a while and the group got to know each other a bit more while having some snacks.
"Hahaha! Sorry about just now. Our meeting might not have started out on the right foot or maybe even the left foot... but that's all in the past. My name is Alma Laune. Escaped mental patient extraordinaire. Nice to meet you guys." reintroduced Alma in perfect Japanese.
He was then greeted by an awkward air of silence as everyone looked at him with a blank stare.
*Cough*
"Sorry for the spectacle everyone. I shall take full responsibility for this." said Watari as he apologized to everyone regarding Alma's action.
"Hey, what does that mean?" asked Alma.

"It's fine Professor Watari. Do you mind introducing us to this... person." asked Chief Yagami as he gave a questioning glance at Alma, who is wearing a Hawaiian shirt Bermuda pants star-shaped frameless glasses, sandals, anime haori and headband.
"Don't ignore me. My heart is fragile you know~" declared Alma shamelessly.
Ignoring Alma's words, everyone listened to what Watari continued with his explanation from before he was interrupted by Alma's entrance.
"Ahem! As I was saying, this person here is a very skilled information broker. His skill in obtaining intelligence and information is second to none on the web. Investigations by various countries listed him as a likely culprit of the ICARUS incident a few years prior. Codename ICARUS, the number one information broker in the black market." explained Watari as everyone gasped in amazement.
"So you are saying is... this man, is a very skilled intelligence agent?" said Chief Yagami haltingly as he inspected Alma up and down.
Everyone also expressed their confusion at what Watari had just said.
"I know it might not look like it but yes. He is a very skilled person. Though there were some reports saying otherwise. I am pretty sure he can explain better." explained Watari as they looked at Alma with a curious gaze.
"Argh. You guys are no fun. Too serious, I say. Anyways, yeah. I might be that skilled intelligence agent you guys were talking about. I'm saying might because there is some information old man Watari here had left out." said Alma flippantly as he slumped onto a free seat on a sofa while removing his accessories from Akihabara.
"My information about you is pretty complete and I am pretty sure no one else has more information than me currently. What could I be missing then ICARUS?" asked Watari with a curious tone.
"Yeah, give that ICARUS thing a rest. Just call me by my real name, Alma Laune. And I don't care about the name thing from the Kira killing conjecture. I ain't gonna die from that and having my name out there is pretty inconsequential anyway." replied Alma carelessly as he grabbed one of L's cake to have a bite.
"Hmm. Alma Laune was it. I admit your skill in steering the conversation and information gathering is praiseworthy but proper precautions have to be conducted. You should know why if you had read the files. And also, that is my cake." said L as he leaned forward from his seat to stop Alma from grabbing his strawberry shortcake.
"Well, I have been diagnosed with mental issues and I have lost quite a large amount of memory over the years. If you want some proof for that, you can check with the local hospital database. I'm pretty sure I had a record there. Can't really do much if you can't even remember what you are trying to do. Also, sharing is caring." explained Alma as he successfully avoided L's hand and grabbed a slice of the strawberry shortcake.
"Eh?! Then how much do you remember? Will this impact your skills in any way?" exclaimed Watari in worry.
"Don't get so worked up old man. It's bad for your heart. And no. It will not affect my work in any way, shape, or form. Muscle memory can help compensate for a big portion of it. And for the others, what I can remember is more than enough. Anyways, I'm not the smartest around so I will leave all the documents and investigations to you. Watari still has access to my information network so that is something." said Alma with a shrug at everyone's disbelieving look.
"Then what can you do? Considering what you just said, I don't have much confidence in what you can do." mentioned Light as he stared at Alma.
"Well, I'll just help with some simple stuff around here. Can't really do much right not to disapprove of what you think of me. Though I did enter here without the security screaming its head off. So that's something I guess." laughed Alma proudly at the faces of the group.
Some further discussions were carried out before a decision is made. Abber is tasked with trying to get closer with the upper management if the Yotsuba group while Weddie is tasked with installing bugs, hidden microphones and cameras at the suspected targets houses.
They eventually separated and they continued browsing through the news and security footage to find clues and information about Kira.
After getting to know the others better, Alma eventually decided to go along with Matsuda and help him out with his job of being a manager for the young fashion idol, Misa Amane.
L eventually let Alma be and let him do what he wants after some discussion about Alma's capability with Watari since they are unsure of what is his capability in his current state.

A few days later, on a sunny Friday afternoon, Alma can be seen accompanying Matsuda while watching Misa who is in the middle of a movie shoot in a nearby park.
"Break for two hours." said the movie director so that the actors could cool off a little.
"Man, I knew Misa Amane is a rather popular youth model, to think she is already stepping foot into the movie industry. She is quite amazing yea?." exclaimed Alma as he passed a drink to Matsuda.
"Yeah, you are right about that. She is amazing." muttered Matsuda as he absentmindedly accepted the drink Alma had offered. He could be seen glancing at the Yotsuba Group's main office that is near the park.
'The Yotsuba group. The deaths that favour Yotsuba are concentrated on the time from Friday night to Saturday afternoon....' thought Matsuda inwardly as he stared at the large building of the Yotsuba Group's main office while responding half-heartedly to Alma.
"Whew, that director pisses me off." huffed Misa annoyed as she approached the rest area that the two of them were in. She then took a seat with an unsatisfied look on her face.
Seeing Misa that is taking a break, Matsuda went towards her and passed her the drink that Alma had just given to him.
"MisaMisa, today's shoot goes until pretty late, right?" asked Matsuda as he passed Misa the warm tea he had been given by Alma.
"Huh? Yeah, they said that it should end past 10 pm." replied Misa while still feeling a little peeved at what the director told her during the shoot.
"Then, I'll come back around that time." uttered Matsuda before he began running off in a hurry.
"What's is with everyone? Jeez..." complained Misa with dissatisfaction as she stared at Matsuda running off into the distance.
"You got that right. By the way, that tea is the one that I just passed to Matsuda. Don't need to worry though, he had not taken a sip before he passed it to you." said Alma as he walked to her side while taking a sip of his cup of tea.
"Huh? Oh, is that so? Thank you then." thanked Misa as she looked at the new helper that is accompanying Matsuda who is in charge of observing her.
'This person, Alma, is unlike the other guys. Those police guys are so stiff. Especially that L, interrupting my sweet happy time with Light. He seems like a fun and nice guy to be around though. Very relaxed, very nice.' thought Misa as she looked at Alma.
"Oh~ Finally! Some appreciation around here." cried Alma exaggeratedly with flair, causing Misa to giggle a little at his antics.
With the warmth of the tea and the jokes of Alma, she soon calmed down and was no longer annoyed at the director. Well, maybe still just a little annoyed.
Seeing that Misa had claimed down, Alma then passed her some snacks before asking what is going on with Matsuda.
"Don't know. He just asked me the ending time for today's shoot before legging it outta here. Oh~ this cupcake is very nice!" answered Misa as she took a bit of the cupcake that Alma prepared as snacks.
"Thanks, made this myself." huffed Alma in pride before continuing his question.
"Hey, Miss Misa. Do you think that Matsuda will likely get himself into some type of trouble? Considering his absent-minded look all day today." asked Alma with a muffled voice while chewing on a piece of cupcake.
"Hmm? I don't know? Maybe? Matsuda is a nice guy but he can be forgetful sometimes." muttered Misa as she tilted her head in thought.
"I see. Well, enjoy your break then. I prepared some snacks and drinks on the side. I have also prepared a lunchbox for you if you don't mind. I'll go check on where Matsuda went." said Alma as he pointed at the side where the drinks and snacks are kept while passing Misa a small lunchbox.
"Wow! Thank you. Having you around these past few days are the best! The food you make is delicious! My heart belongs to Light Yagami though~" thanked Misa before teasing Alma by sticking out her tongue cutely.
"Hahaha! Don't worry your pretty little face. I'm not competing with you for Light. I'm straight." replied Alma with a laugh.
"Hey! What does that suppose to mean! Am I not attractive? Cute? Beautiful?" complained Misa jokingly as she posed adorably with a smile.
"Hahaha! I'll leave ya to it then. I'll be going now, see you in a bit yea?" said Alma as he waved goodbye.
"Bye-bye, see you later then. Remember to bring some more snacks!" replied Misa happily.

Glancing at my phone, I could see the location of Matsuda with the tracker I had placed on him previously. Looking at his position, I can see that Matsuda is heading towards the Yotsuba group's main office building.
What were those guys saying previously? Something about a lot of deaths happening around the weekend? Oh! Today is a Friday, so it is technically a weekend.
Looking at Matsuda's location on the map once again.
Is he trying to do some investigation himself? Not to be rude but I don't think he is suitable for stealthy investigation jobs.
*Sigh*
I guess my feeling is right about Matsuba either causing or getting into some type of trouble.

Well, I better get going then. Some preparations will be needed in order to solve the mess that would happen.
A white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a white cap combo ain't gonna cut it if I am going to be entering a business office of a big corporation like the Yotsuba Group.
'First things first, I need a wardrobe change. A suit will be good.' I muttered inwardly as I looked at the casual outfit I was wearing.
Luckily, I was prepared. My soul's core glowed a little in response to my thoughts.

Meanwhile, as Matsuda was sneaking into Yotsuba's main office building.
L, Light, and the group is discussing regarding the investigation of the Yotsuba group. L and Chief Yagami is discussing on the proper measures they should follow and actions to proceed without arousing the suspicions of the Yotsuba group council of eight.
"In order to escape notice, first Aber and Weddie-" began L before stopping short.
"Ryuuzaki...." interrupted Watari as he called the alias of L during the investigation.
"What is it Watari?" asked L as he stopped his explanation and listened to Watari.
"Matsuda has sent out the distress signal from his belt." replied Watari.
".... from where?" asked L after a moment of silence to process what he had just heard. What are the odds of somethings related to Yotsuba group to happen just as they were talking about them.
"Well, it appears to be from inside the Yotsuba Tokyo Main Office..." watari
"Wha.. what is he doing?! Matsuda! What if he got caught..." shouted Chief Yagami exasperatedly as he worried about what they should do to help Matsuda.
The group then decided to rethink their strategy to deal with the new situation.
With an amazing show of his questionable skills and good luck, Matsuda managed to enter the yotsuba building without getting caught. He took the back entrance and luckily avoided all the guards and employees on the way.
Matsuda eventually made it to the meeting room and eavesdropped on a portion of the conversation before lady luck decided enough was enough causing him to be discovered when the door of the meeting room opened suddenly. He then panicked a little before pressing his belt buckle that has an emergency tracker and signal that notified Watari on the wearer's position and condition.
Wondering what he should do, Matsuda panicked a little before introducing himself using his alias with the identification L and Watari had prepared for him for the investigation.
He introduced himself as Taro Matsui, an agent from the Yoshida Agency, and that he was here to introduce the popular young model Misa Amane while asking whether they would be interested in featuring her in their TV adverts.
Matsuda was then led to another room for observation before the higher-ups of Yotsuba continued their meeting before the interruption. They also discussed on what to do with Matsuda as they might be a chance of him hearing thier previous discussion on who to kill using the death note.
As they were thinking of what to do, L asked Cheif Yagami to make a call to Matsuda under a guise of a friend calling him out for a drink. Through the conversation, L was able to determine that Matsuda was alone and that Misa Amane was not accompanying him. He also managed to confirm that Matsuda was in a tight spot using a roundabout way of asking.
Discussing on what to do, they could already determine that Matsuda is being monitored and that someone was listening in on their conversation. Should they make their move now, the Yotsuba group might be alerted. Hence, L decided that they could only stand by and see what will happen for the time being.
*ring ring*
Just as L made the decision to wait, a phone ringing could be heard before Watari patched the call through.
They then receive a call from Alma, telling them that he has obtained information about their current situation and that he is now heading into the Yotsuba building to help Matsuda out.
"I have heard of the current situation. Leave it to me. I got this." stated Alma before promptly ending the call without letting the others say a word.
"Is this alright? Can we trust him? We had seen his files. Would he be able to help?" asked Chief Yagami in a worried tone. This is because they had read the medical records of Alma and had discovered his current situation.
"I believe in Watari's judgement. Besides, my instincts tells me that he isn't someone to be trifled with." commented L with certainty as he bit his thumb in thought.

After ending the call, Alma took a glance at the Yotsuba building.
*whistle*
Giving off a whistle of praise, Alma admired the tall skyscraper which is the Yotsuba building before checking him outfit via the reflection of the glass door entrance.
With a black suit and tie alongside a pair of frameless glasses given Alma a more mature and serious charm. He was also carrying a briefcase full of the materials he had prepared.
Giving himself a nod, Alma then entered the main lobby. He bypassed the security check by using a faux employee card he had manufactured himself a few days ago. The security gates accepted the card with no issues as he had already inputted his information into the Yotsuba group databanks.
Giving a nod to the security guard, Alma entered the main building with smooth movements.
Determining the position of Matsuda via the tracker, Alma reached the 19th floor where the meeting is taking place by following a few employees that are still working overtime.
While walking, Alma could be seen giving his greetings to the employees and asking some questions.
"Good evening, I am here to receive a client details for a previous case. Where would the waiting room be? Why? I am scheduled to have a meeting wth the council in a while. I am in a hurry, your help is much appreciated. Thank you." asked Alma calmly.
His disposition after activating
Getting the information he needed, Alma then thanked them before going on his way. He then reached the waiting room at the of the corridor.
*knock knock knock*
Knocking on the door, Alma announced his presence to the people inside. They door then opened and the scene of Matsuda being watched by the two person came into view.
Seeing the confused and surprised look of Matsuda as well as the questioning look given by the two person tasked with observing Matsuda, Alma cleared his throat a little before introducing himself.
"Good evening gentlemen. My name is Arma Laune. A hired advisor for the Yoshida agency. This is my card." said Alma as he passed his namecard to one of them.
"I see that you have already met one of our younger agents, Taro Matsui. His skills leave much to be desired but his enthusiasm and spirit is very commendable. The older ones is no longer as enthusiastic as the younger ones so they are much needed to ensure that we don't lag behind in spirit in our line of work. I am sorry if he had caused any trouble to you." explained Alma before bowing his head a little to apologise to them.
"Umm, it is ok. Mr Laune. Although we had started of on the wrong foot, he did not cause to much of a trouble. Even so, sneaking into the Yotsuba group to promote their people isn't right. A reservation should be done for any meetings." replied the two after seeing Alma's serious work attitude.
"Yes, of course. I am sorry for your trouble. We already had a meeting booked today with the council later at around 7pm. It has already been approved and schedule by the system. You can also confirm the authenticity of this with the secretary. It would seem that this new agent was too excited to listen to my briefing before rushing here without much preparation. Go on, apologise to the for the trouble you had cause." said Alma slowly before prompting Matsuda to apologise as well.
Hearing what Alma had said, the two introduced themself as Hatori and Shimura. One of them then decided to call the front desk to check whether what Alma said about him having a meeting with the council group scheduled later.
'Is this really him? He feels so different!' thought Matsuda inwardly in amazement as he glanced at Alma.
After the call, Shimura gave a nod to Hatori. The front desk had confirmed that there is indeed a meeting scheduled later under the name Arma Laune a few days ago.
"Alright then, we have confirmed that you indeed had a meeting scheduled with us later. Sorry for this, we have got to be careful with security you know." said Hatori slowly.
'We had a meeting scheduled with them? Why wasn't told about this?' muttered Matsuda inwardly at what he just heard.
"It is alright. Security is important for every business. I understand." nodded Alma in agreement as he took a seat beside Matsuda.
"By the way, what do have there inside the briefcase. Do you mind letting us check it just in case?" asked Hatori when he noticed Alma was carrying a briefcase.
"Sure, go ahead. Inside contains the various documentations about possible future collaboration, profile portfolios and achievements of Misa Amane, and my certifications and authentication as proof of my being an advisor of the ICARUS firm hired by Yoshida Agency." explained Alma as he opened up the briefcase and letting the two inspect it.
"I see. It seems that Yoshida Agency is very serious about the collaboration with us." nodded Shimura and Hatori after checking the documents.
"That is a matter of course. As Misa Amane is the star of a the highly recommended film 'Sweet Eighteen' coming this spring, with the promotion done by your adverts, he value and reputation as a star will skyrocket causing your TV adverts to be more popular and generate a higher income. This is win-win situation for both of us." stated Alma with confidence as the two nodded in agreement.
"This is worth considering, though we need to bring it up to the council for further discussion and you have to present it to them. Is this ok?" said Hatori to Alma.
"A par of the course. This much is expected of my job." agreed Alma slowly.
They then proceed to make some small talk while waiting for the council meeting to end before they could meet with them. As they were waiting, Shimura and Hatori had Alma's identity as an advisor investigated.
After some time, Alma and Matsuda was brought to meet with the council. The identity of Alma was proven without much trouble since the ICARUS firm is a small but reliable firm established overseas a few years ago with a stable reputation.
The ICARUS firm is something Alma set up when he was having his business and lawyer training years ago, though Alma has since retired from it due to his condition. His record as someone of the firm was never removed however. This is due to his capabilities in giving it a stable reputation via his work during his training period.
Shimura and Hatori then told the council of what they had found out from Matsuda as well as introducing Alma to the council. They have also passed the documents Alma prepared in his briefcase to the council.
As the council members where discussing what to do, Alma received a certain feeling in his mind before glancing around the room.

Seeing the information he had received from his soul's core, Alma focussed his eyes as he slowly observed the council members before noting that one of them seems to give him a peculiar feeling.
Noting the person down, Alma continued observing the other members just to see if they also give off a similar feeling. He then noticed that only that one person has that peculiar feeling and Alma knew he had found the culprit. Though without evidence, there isn't much he could do.
Snapping out of his thoughts, Alma listened to the decision of the council members. They concluded that they are unable to judge the feasibility of the collaboration without seeing the person that they are to promote.
Under the pressure from the council, Matsuda then decided to call Misa Amane to come over to Yotsuba to talk about the current situation. At the same time, Light had also received a call from Misa.. After telling the situation to L, L decided to have Misa go to Yotsuba to give them a chance to save Matsuda.
L's side would handle the security, arrangement and planning, as well as give a call to the agency. Misa then agreed to this after Light told her about him needing her help.
Luckily, they did not have to wait long as Alma managed to delay them properly with the large amount of documents and plans for collaboration. They in-depth discussion between then solidified their impression of Alma truly being a hired advisor and time soon passed by quickly before Misa soon arrived at the Yotsuba office.
With the help of Misa's charisma and L's arrangement of having the Yoshida Agency's fashion model aid them, they managed to convince the council members to move to Misa's house under the guise of a special reception by her agency.
Using the survailence TV installed in Misa's home, which is a large flat, L and the others would then be able to observe them and provide timely assistance.
The Yotsuba group members then had a good time a the fashion models and Misa received them enthusiastically. They entertained them and served them some drinks.
While this is going on, Matsuda received a call from L. He was then told of L's plan in helping him survive from being killed by Kira.
Matsuda is then that the way to survive is to de before he gets killed. L then elaborated his plan on how Matsuda is to fake his death. The plan is to have Matsuda act drunk from drinking before going up onto the window ledge to perform some tricks only to fall over and down the apartment building.
Matsuda will be caught by the members of the Kira investigation that will be waiting to catch him right below his floor. Then, they will have Aber disguised as Matsuda lie down dead on the ground a few stories below before having Weddie coincidently encountering the 'dead' body and calling the ambulance.
L, Light, Chief Yagami, and well as all the members of the group had to personally join in the act because they are short on staff members.
After successfully showing the Yotsuba council members the 'death' of Matsuda, the were able to get Matsuda off the hook from being killed by the Kira that is with Yotsuba.
They then published an article about the 'death' of Matsuda's alias, Taro Matsui. With the news article being published, the eight Yotsuba members would no longer concern themselves regarding Matsuda, especially the one that is suspected to have a connection with Kira, thus ensuring the survival of Matsuda.

The next day, in the building acting as the headquarters for the Kira investigation group, the members gave a sigh of relief and was impressed that somehow, Matsuda's action had allowed them to give a solid base to assume that one of the eight Youtsuba council members have a connection with Kira.
"Though our investigation will be needing extra caution from now on." explained L before focusing his gaze on Matsuda who just avoided his gaze with a nervous laugh while scratching his chin.
"With Matsuda no longer able to act as Misa's manager to stay in contact with Yotsuba... Aber, do you want to act as the new manager?" noted L before asking Aber about what he would be doing.
Aber rejected acting as a manager and that he will be doing things his own way. Giving a nod of acknowledgement, L decide to have Mogi, a previous member of the police investigation group to act as the new manager.
"Now then, onto the next topic. Sorry for doubting your skills Alma." apologised Chief Yagami to Alma after hearing Alma's actions from Matsuda.
"When did you manage to prepare all the documents if I may ask? I have also gave a look at it and it looks very well done. Besides that, how did you manage to bypass the security of Yotsuba in such short notice?" asked Chief Yagami curiously before everyone also perked up their eyes to listen to Alma's explanation.
This is especially true for L, Aber, and Weddie since they were curious about the skills of someone Watari had personally asked to help.
Alma then proceeded to explain that the documents weren't hard to prepare. He just needed sometime with a computer before going to a printer shop to print it out. His knowledge alongside
"For bypassing the system... I did no such thing. I already have a employee card for the Yotsuba group in my hands. I had it made a few days ago after I have inputted my data in there database as a company advisor." explained Alma with a shrug.
"How was that possible? Won't the security guards and those in charge of the system be wary of the sudden new entry?" asked Weddie in disbelief.
"Hey, it's not my fault you can't do it. As for the security guards... hah! They won't dare to question me!" stated Alma with a laugh before his whole disposition changed abruptly, sending out an air of intimidation and pressure of the upper class elite.
"Do you think they will dare say no to me! They wouldn't for fear of messing with the wrong people." stated Alma with a huff before removing his aura. Though in reality, Alma was just using one of the effects of
Seeing the capabilities of Alma, the group then apologised for underestimating and not believing him. L then asked Alma to join Aber and Weddie in investigating the eight Yotsuba group members.
"Alright, sure! But i get to do things my way yeah?" agreed Alma with a smile before discussing with them his further actions.
