Today is finally the day that I actually begin my training. It has honestly been quite annoying that they kept postponing the magic training for so long due to the unforeseen happenings of my magical capabilities.
We made our way to where I was going to start the training as they didn't want me too close to the tent in case I accidentally destroy it. It was a really expensive item to have and I could see why with all the capabilities that it contained. The thing that most surprised me was how my sister and Garv were able to get their hands on such an item. Were A rank adventurers really that strong and important to the kingdom?
If they were then I know that I am in good hands with my training. I knew that anyway with my sister as I had seen her a portion of her abilities when she went against that goblin. However, I was a little bit sceptical about how strong Garv was as I had never seen any of his accomplishments and all I knew was that he used to be a part of my sisters' adventurers team.
In my sisters' team, I knew that she wasn't the leader but she shared the command with another person who was on the team. Whenever I tried to ask about the leader of the team they would just give a little giggle and told me not to worry about it. The only thing they told me was that there were 3 other people on their team. Meaning that they had a five-man team to fight against whatever opposed them.
This was considered to be a small team, as usually a team would consist of around 8 or more people. This just shows how strong each person on my Mae's team was as they were accomplishing the same feats if not better feats than teams with more members than them.
I gave up with asking about it as their giggles started to annoy me quite a bit and I couldn't be bothered with getting annoyed at them any longer so.
We got to the plains that I was going to train my magic on. It was a beautiful place with lush green grass spread out far around you with tall trees in the distance that would make you look in awe even from the far distance that we were from them.
The way the plains looked only occupied me for a couple of minutes as I was incredibly excited to start training my magic. I was going to become the strongest and that was the only thing on my mind at the moment.
The first thing I was instructed to do was make some natural energy appear in my hand. Natural energy was just the energy that appeared that had no trait, like fire or water and it was far weaker than any of the elements. Because of this anyone who was able to manipulate even the littlest of energy was able to create it. As it wasn't that powerful no-one really bothered to train using it but Garv explained that if I trained this it can increase the amount that I can hold as well as my stamina when using magic. This meant I could use it for a lot longer without getting tired.
No one could really become that powerful if the only thing they used was the natural energy so it was never considered when people would train even by me. I thought that it would be quite useless but with Garv's argument, I realized that it was extremely important towards my growth as a manipulator.
I focus on gathering as much of the natural energy as I could. I didn't strain myself in the process, in fear that the energy would implode and cause some harm to myself. I was able to make a ball about the size of a small boulder using both of my hands to carry the weight of it. It was quite heavy even though it was just energy so I couldn't help but put my second hand in to help.
I fired the energy ball into the distance and watched it cause quite a large explosion for it being the weakest out of everything that can be manipulated. It made a massive crater in the floor at least 10 meters in radius. Bits of the ground flying in every direction some even making it to me and Garv and hitting him in the face.
I had a little chuckle until I had a death stare from him which I decided I should probably apologize for dirtying him. This was a bit weird as he is usually a lot more laid back about stuff usually from what I have observed in the short time I have known him. He must just not like dirt or something.
He quickly returned to his normal smile after he noticed I went silent.
"Come on then I think with that performance you must be drained of everything." Garv said as he gestured to follow him back to the tent.
"You think so." I said back with hints if sarcasm as I felt as if nothing had changed in my stamina.
I focused up again but this time instead of making 1 ball of natural energy I made as many smaller ones as I can. This was a lot harder than the one ball of energy as it required a lot more focus to be able to control each ball individually without any of them disappearing. It seemed that as of right now I could only keep 4 of them up and any more than that and they would disappear due to me not being able to concentrate on 5 at once.
A stunned look seemed to make its way onto Garv's face as I opened my eyes to look at what I had created. The four balls of energy seemed to make the four corners of a square and I was able to freely move each of them as I never lost my focus on any of them at all. As soon as I did that then the one that I had the least focus on would disappear and this would carry on until I either called them off or lost focus on all of them.
Garv was baffled at the fact I was able to create these 4 balls of energy let alone be able to move them all freely. He continued to explain to me how once again my genius ways had completely shattered their logic of manipulating from pretty much the beginning of time. It should take someone at least a month to be able to create be able to make 2 and control them with their free will and who knows how much harder it would be to make even more of them than that.
A mere 5-year-old boy like myself was truly going to be the next overlord of the world. Just a flick of my finger after I have had tons of training would be able to wipe out armies. Luckily, none of this will happen as I want a peaceful life after I destroy the dragons.
While Garv was still in his state of wonder at my power we decided we should finish up for today before coming back tomorrow with a proper training regime for me and have bragged to my sister about my never-ending list of accomplishments at this point.
These dragons have no chance!
