Blackcurrant Juice

There was plenty of gossip about the queen. The wife of Guyl the Kind was the daughter of a southern king, as was fitting. Royals married other royals, unless they fancied themselves rebels. Catria of Swarr was a suitable spouse for the Sennite ruler. Admirable, stable and very prestigious, she was rumored to have a lot of power over her husband.

Nowadays, though, she was taking initiative more and more, and most of her projects were against witches. Serenica supposed it to be the folly of old age, as the queen had passed her childbearing years and she probably had nothing to do with her time.

This was naive, of course, but Serenica had never cared much for the matters of royalty before falling for a prince and promising to get a king killed.
