Serenica managed to get a private moment with Myorka. The bookkeeper could barely contain her excitement. It was not hard to guess what she was so happy about.

"You can see right through me," she sighed. "I was planning a big reveal, but that's not important. What is important is that we've made it. And I'm eternally grateful for that."

"So, how far along are you?" Serenica asked. "Has it been officially confirmed?"

"I don't know what you mean, but I've been in contact with a fantastic scryer." The bookkeeper touched her abdomen. It was still slender and as flat as it could possibly be on a fertile woman with a curvaceous build. Still, there was a subtle magic in the way she held her belly, a place that held within the secret of life.

"It's done. We did it. Now I'll have to take care of it," Myorka continued. "Can I trust you to be available?"

"Always," Serenica said. "But where are you planning to raise him?"
